Felt like playing the good old pc-fx games and came across news that pia carrot was translated online so I gave it a go as my japanese is way below standard to play the original on the pc-fx I tried this translated one with magic engine fx instead. Welcome to Pia Carrot PCFX (english translation/japanese hentai dating sim) Although boring it was fun to be able to complete these mysterious japanese hentai dating sims that were out of the question to try/finish before. You get to like in real life persuit the girl you like, for the people that know or want to try I had my chances with the hot waitress Reika which starts hitting on you from day 1 almost (so the easy way) eventhough it was funny to see the erotic pictures while hearing a moaning sound lol.. The erotic pictures themselfs don't show much but it was fun anyway to have a go at this weird japanese game. Finished it and lived happily ever after with Reika Just out of curiousity: 7/10 After you played one and the curiousity is gone: 3/10 (boring as hell!) Besides that I finished the more common and less interesting to post about PS3 games: Uncharted 2: 7/10 Modern Warfare 2: 8/10
Finished Little Big Planet for the PSP a few days ago. Now I just need to properly figure out how this level editor works.
I just finished FFV again a few weeks ago . Was hard as nails as always and quit playing for a few months here and there. And I just finished the Remake of Star Ocean 1. Great game.
finished the last episodic monkey island for the season in a matter of hours. It was alright. I m enjoying myself some Symphony of the Night, from the original PSX era. Quite good I'd say. In parallel, I m also fighting my way one stage at a time in Rondo of Blood's remake on the PSP. After I m done with them I have Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen to relive on my PS3

Braid (great game, story sucks) Lucidity (great game with semi repetitive gameplay, but AMAZING ending! almost cried.)
2010 bug repost: I'm bored so here's my list for 2009, probably missed some. Assassin's Creed 2 (360) 9/10 - Still a bit repetitive but very nicely done, atmospheric and overall just better than AC1. Love the gun. Batman Arkham Asylum (360, PC) 8/10 - I'm not into superheroes but the game was never boring, still haven't solved all puzzles though. Shit ending. Borderlands (360, PC) 9/10 - Someone named it 'this generations Diablo 2'... dunno if it is but it's heaps of fun, played it through 5 times so far in SP and Coop. I think I'll build myself a Claptrap. Borderlands DLC1 - The Zombie Island Of Dr. Ned (PC) 8/10 - Doesn't really fit too much into the sunny overworld comic theme I had in my head while playing BL, but fun and pretty tough at times nonetheless. Brütal Legend (360) 6/10 (never finished) - I don't like Jack Black or buggy games... or whatever genre it tries to fit in. Quit somewhere in the middle. Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box (360) 8/10 - Crazy fun time and time again, especially when wasted, but the soundtrack (Avril Lavigne, WTF?) and the party modes are just messed up. Call Of Duty 6 SP (360) 7/10 - Call Of Duty 4 x 1.5. Exactly what I expected. Call Of Juarez - Bound In Blood (360) 7/10 - Weird in ways, fun in others - only played it through in Coop once, don't think I will do it again but still not too bad. Dreamkiller (PC) 6/10 (never finished) - Pretty much the same as the last few Painkillers, just with an even worse storyline. And spiders in each and every dream I played, why?! GTA IV: The Lost And Damned (360) 7/10 (never finished) - I liked the storyline of GTA IV, but the DLC1 just never did it for me... I'll wait for the DLC pack to be released on PC before I play Gay Tony. Operation Flashpoint 2 6/10 (PC) (never finished) - OPF1 was great, however 2 got uninstalled after 30 minutes. Prototype (360) 8/10 - A bit repetitive, like AC1 actually; still great fun, and throwing vans around never gets old. Section 8 (360) 5/10 (never finished) - Got stuck in a mission on the first try, was able to finish the mission on the 2nd try but quit and never played again after it. Been there, done that. Resident Evil 5 (360) 7/10 (never finished) - The earlier REs were way scarier, this seemed more like COD. Still hate the controls. The Godfather 2 (PC) 5/10 (never finished) - I hated GF1 in the beginning but then played through it many times, the same thing happened with GF2 except I never picked it up again. Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X (360) 9/10 - Great in Coop, predictable storyline & missions but the gameplay made up for it. UFC 2009 Undisputed (360) 9/10 - UFC, and pretty well done. Not everyone's thing but great nonetheless. Wolfenstein (360, PC) 7/10 - Good for a playthrough but no need for another.
Finished New Super Mario Bros. Wii completely a couple days ago. The verdict: the creators' hearts were definitely in the right place but something about the engine just isn't the same (or in my opinion, as good) as the classics. Maybe because it's no longer tile-based.
Bayonetta (360) (on normal). 10/10 game for me, sublime experience. After a few more playthroughs it may well enter my top 5 games of all time, it's that much fun. Gorgeous fighting system that caters for button mashers, intermediate skilled players (where I consider I sit), and experts (judging by people I have spoken with, combo vids I've seen etc). Good replay value, for me at least as I missed many Alfheim (and the unlock for completing them all!), resting places, LPs, and pretty much all the special items / weapons from the Gates of Hell etc. Only downer..it ended! I could have handled another 20 levels easy. And as Yakumo mentioned in another thread the ending just keeps on giving. Pure tongue in cheek class throughout.
Just finished Borderlands on 360 with the help of a couple of friends, this game has really surprised me because there really is a boatload of stuff to do even after finishing the main story.
Finished Darksiders yesterday. I am not motivated for another go just for trophies. I will start Bayonetta
Finished New Super Mario Brothers Wii last night with friends. Man that game is a ton of fun with 4 players, but fuck world 8 is a hell when your crouded together on small platforms.
Finished Borderlands: The zombie Island of Dr.Ned in 3-player co-op. Man these guys have a great sense of humor, the expantion was so much fun.
Bioshock 2 PS3 - Bad ending.... Harvested all the girls but didn't kill Lamb... Good game, would like to go back and complete it for the different endings and try a few of the different plasmids I didn't pick up - but have about 6 sealed games to go through and have Heavy Rain to come out this week! Love not having the misses around - beer and PS3!
First off, hello everyone!! I havent been on here in ages, i missed you guys Second, and on-topic, i Just beat Final Fantasy 8 for the first time. Ive gotten to the middle of disc 3 numerous times, and kinda lost interest and quit playing. I havent played it in like 8 years, and i realized that the only FF's i have never beat were 8,12, and 13. So i decided to give it another try. I dont know if its maybe just cause im older now or what, but for some reason i was mesmerized by it this time around. FF8 has just moved to my 2nd favorite Final Fantasy, right below FF10, which is not only my favorite FF, but one of my personal top 5 games of all time. yes I liked 8 and 10 more than 7, dont hold it against me lol.
