Very true. Games must be felt about for fun before one commits to finish the damn thing. I mean not everyone has time to play something they aren't that interested in. @Jimpachi: That's some detailed info from the top of your head, I m nowhere near as versed in GoW. Although I own GoW 1 I solely play it when my friends beg me to, hence why I ve mostly played co-op campaign in split-screen and thats where my view of both games was determined. It's a fun game, I just can't stand all that manliness and lack of colour. I like vibrant colours in games, just like they used to make'em.
I completed GoW 1 in co-op and singleplayer and GoW 2 in co-op only (though I didn't complete it really, there are still a couple of stages to go). I can't find any major differences though. Both are very fun games and full of epic events & effects as the company name indicates. But arguing that the sequel is so different and evolved in comparison to its predecessor? Ridiculous, I felt as if I'd play an graphically enhanced addon. New weapons, some new enemies, some fancy effects and great new stages. That's about it, and I like it just the way it is. Only thing I really dislike is the above mentioned MANLINESS. That incredibly stereotype black guy is so embarrassing, I can't put it in words, LOL. All the game's characters seem like grotesquely exaggerated faces from a Tim Burton movie to me.
Battlefield Bad Company. One of those games I played casually for a week or two in the evenings and then stopped for no reason. I pulled it back out two days ago and only had an hour and a half left in the game. I do this wayyyy too much! Stop playing RIGHT before the end and then get really dissapointed I didn't have more game left when I finish it!
Haha it happened to me with Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon for DS I got to the last chapter and just left it there for like a month and then picked it up a couple of weeks ago and finished it. :katamari:
I'm playing 'Borderlands' right now, it's crazy fun. I mean, the gameplay is pretty simple. You're just questing, leveling up your character, finding new weapons, etc. But when you're doing all this with your friends, it makes it soo much more fun.
Just finished Fable 1 again, this time as the evil guy. It was hard for me sometimes to be that EVIL, I have to admit that ^^ Selling out your Arena partner by killing her? Killing her father who seeks revenge as well? Killing your own sister? GWAAH, I KILLED THEM ALL!!!11 mwhahahar. Now I'm Mr. Great who is married to sexy Mrs. Mayor, owns a fully refurbished house in every town and drinks lot of beer. Not much to do for me anymore. I'll go and play Jet Set Radio Future now. Last time I had stopped playing in the sewage system and then my Xbox incl. HDD died.
Just now beat Castlevania: SOTN for the first time. Definatly lived up to the praise. Beat Borderlands earlier. Awesome game aswell.
Done with the latest Tales of Monkey island episode and a few Sam and Max season 2 bits. I find myself indulging in adventure gaming more than usual, I think my brain is in need of exercise.
I finished "Borderlands" last night. Talk about a weak ending/story. The game was still really fun. And the story isn't what kept me playing but... I started my second playthrough this morning and it's like a different game. Much tougher enemies and way better loot!
This. Also completed MW2 singleplayer, good ending but overall poor story telling and much of the same that you got with COD4.
I m glad to see more people finishing Machinarium. My mate and his secretary finished it as well, it's an amazing little game.
I think I got the time to switch my 360 on last week, other than that my son is playing in my account and I've not had a shot of anything for months.
Uncharted 2. Fun, but the kind of game I played in 1 hour spurts throughout a couple of weeks, unlike Borderlands wich had me hooked start to finish.
Fable 2, was disappointed at the lack of storyline length. Seemed that just when I was truly getting into the game it ended. Better than continuing past when you lose interest, I guess? Also, De Blob. An absolutely amazing game that had me hooked from start to finish.
Densetsu no Stafy (GBA) Loved it, gonna nab the next one! EDIT: AND THEN I WIPE MY SAVE ON ACCIDENT. That's what I get for trying to backup the SRAM on my flash cart and forget that nintendo's X and Y buttons aren't the same as other consoles. :banghead: OH:  OH: :banghead: I mean, I finished it, but hadn't quite *FINISHED* it yet. For those who finished Machinarium, how long is it?
