Made up a video level adaptor yesterday for my STV so I can use it on my TFT happyhap: ). Playing Die Hard Arcade I spotted that the blue guy can do a move lifted directly from Streets of Rage; it's the one where you grab them, hit them twice, vault over the top then drop them. Direct copy Stone
The Jetsons for the SNES (possibly by Taito US) was copied for Japan. Everything was removed and changed to a cute girl but it was still the Jetsons ! Even some of the levels looked the same. The Japanese game was defiantly not by the same company that produced the Jetsons either. Now if only I could find out what it was. Yakumo
I've read around on this game and I hear that Baitohel 2000 for the PSP is a port of the PSX game Groove Jigoku 5 from 1998. http://opus.co.jp/products/groove5/ This is the only good info I could find on it. Hope you know Japanese and have a low resolution on your monitor! On this site, I found a pic that resembles the above, but they made it TINY. Someone should Google Groove Jigoku 5 and dig info up on it, since I cant acess google ATM, and found this info with dogpile.
I remeber playing Agony and it was a great Amiga shooter (Yakumo you would love it) And the zelda clone I remember that game too.
Heh, that's quite a bit different. Die Hard Arcade is nothing like SoR otherwise. Developers must be allowed to have some kind of trademark.
Ok, listen and learn, guys. I AM NOT DEFENDING THIS GAME, BUT... This game deserves a bad rep for parody-ing Nintendo in bad taste, but its getting the wrong bad rep. They are calling this game a Wario Ware Clone, even though its a REMAKE of another game that came out before Wario Ware. Thats bitch-ass, Dumb-ass casual gamers for you. :smt045
