Games with multiple discs

Can anyone list games with multiple discs on any platform? At least 3 discs and higher.

No floppies, sorry.

 

There aren't any 3 disc games on the PS2 PSP Gamecube or Xbox, on the PS1 I know of 2 5 CD games, Riven the Sequel to Myst and Tokimeki Memorial 2 (JP only release), if game bundles count throw in Arc the Lad collection (US only). The 3-4disc titles are too numerous to list, but here is a small list:
Fear Effect
Final Fantasy VII-IX
Lunar Eternal Blue
Tales of Eternia (in the US that's Destiny 2)

On Sega CD and Saturn:
Tomcat Alley (CD)
Panzer Dragoon Saga (Saturn)

 

Tomcat Alley was 1 disc afaik.

Shenmue 1 and 2 (dreamcast), Phantasmagoria (PC), Phantasm (Saturn JPN), Fort Boyard: La Legende (PC), Enemy Zero (Saturn), Slam City (Mega-CD/Sega-CD) er..

 

Phantasmagoria was on a whopping SEVEN CDs and the game was shit too. The even shittier sequel was on 5, Gabriel Knight 2 was on 6 and Under a Killing Moon was on 4. Then again, using FMV-based PC games for this list is almost cheating. Under a Killing Moon even has the option to set up multiple CD drives to avoid disc swapping.

 

Too many PC games to list. Some of these were multiple disc on CD, but not DVD.

Journey Man Chronicles 3 jumped to mind for some reason. The sheer number of multi-disc games out there is immense until DVDs started coming out and for a while you'd see dual releases. UT2K3 was one of those.

 

X-Files - 7 discs on PC, 4 on Playstation
D - 3 Discs on Playstation
Enemy Zero - 4 Discs on PC and Saturn
D2 - 4 Discs on Dreamcast
Lost Odyssey - 4 Discs on Xbox 360
Max Payne 3 - 3 Discs on Xbox 360

 

Yeah a few were DVD in Europe or elsewhere. CD in the states.

 

I had Slam City and Tomcat Alley confused, I only have the system for the RPGs so all the other games just run together...

Edit 2: Go here: gamedude.com Their price lists conveniently list the number of discs on games that have more than one. They only list US releases though.

 

The only ones I can think of right now that haven't been mentioned already:

Blade Runner (PC, 4 CDs)
Doom 3 (PC, 3 CDs)
Rage (3 discs on XBOX 360, dunno about PC)

I think some pirated Dreamcast games have been split up onto multiple CD-Rs because of their size, maybe you want to count those in too?
If you don't mind me asking, what the heck is making a list of these good for, anyways?

Fear effect 1 and 2 on PS1 has four disc each.

 

Tons of PC games had multiple discs. I know Half Life 2 and F.E.A.R. originally came on 4 or 5 CDs. I'll check later.

 

Diablo 2 - 3 discs... I think? (Don't think it was 4... unless you could Lord of Destruction)

 

Rebel Assault 2 on PS 1 had two discs

 

Star Wars Battlefront is right above me right now, was 3 CD-ROMs on PC.

 

Gallerians, Wing Commander 3 on Playstation are 2 I can think of off the top of my head.

 

You forgot Legend of Dragoon on PS1

And Rage was 3 disc on PC

 

HL2 had a CD release? I remember it being my reason for getting a DVD drive since it only came out on that format.
