Was Riven 5 CDS on PSX? Myst was probably 5 CDs on PSX as well, wasn't it? At least three. Lunar and Lunar 2 on PSX, as you have said, are 2 and 3 CDs, respectively. Weirdly enough, Working Designs used to always have multi-disc type boxes for its games, even if they were only one disc, and that was very confusing (say, like with Alundra and ThunderForce V and Vanguard Bandits). But now, I really, REALLY want to see how a copy of Phantasmagoria for Sega Saturn looks. How did they manage to pack 8 CDs for one game in that packaging? I'm really curious.
Riven was 5 discs on Mac PC (which is also strangely appropriate given the importance of this number in the game). On PS1 I don't know although I doubt they'd have fitted it in any less than 5 discs as well. Myst on the other hand, at least the Saturn version I own, is only one disc. However if Satakore is to be believed (and I tend to believe them) they managed to get Riven on only 4 discs for the Saturn : http://www.satakore.com/sega-saturn-game,,MK81801-50,,Riven-The-Sequel-to-Myst-EUR.html (and there is no US release apparently) That makes me really curious to see what it looks like on Saturn now, because the game was huge for the time, so either they compressed the images and FMVs Mega CD-style or they found a way to get around otherwise.
This reminds me that I bought Blue Dragon for 149 pesos (11 dollars?) the other day and I haven't even unwrapped it. So, we know that there are many multi-disc 360 games, like Lost Odyssey and Final Fantasy and Infinite Undiscovery and Blue Dragon. What PS2, Original Xbox and Gamecube games are multi-disc? I know for certain, Tales of Symphonia and Resident Evil 4 are two disc titles on Gamecube. Also, I was forgetting, Metal Gear Twin Snakes. Are there more? Are there 2-disc titles on Wii also?
On the Gamecube there's Killer 7 (on two discs), if I'm not mistaken (I don't actually own it). The Wii doesn't have any multi-disc titles yet, though a few seem to have maxed out the available 9GB media so maybe we'll see some in the future (unless the Wii U changed to Blu-Ray and developers are migrating there? Dunno, don't own a Wii U either.)
Yes, there are those. There's also Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 for Gamecube - they both had 2 discs. Zone of the Enders for PS2 was technically 2 discs, although one of them was just a demo for MGS2. I thought we were sticking to 3 discs or more, though. The Wii U uses a proprietary format similar to Blu-ray, with a capacity of 25GB. That's what I've read, anyway.
Ah, that's right, three discs of more. Then we cannot count Skies of Arcadia for Dreamcast either (also two discs), but I think someone here already mentioned Shenmue.

Final Fantasy VII on PC, four CDs. (Actually might depend on how you count discs, it's one setup- and 3 game data discs iirc) The Daedalus Encounter on PC, three CDs; 3DO: 4 CDs. Dragon Lore - The Legend Begins, 3DO, 3 CDs. Psychic Detective, 3DO, 3 CDs. Wing Commander III - Heart of the Tiger, 3DO, 4 CDs - someone else check the PC version plz, I *think* it's 4 CDs also. Btw, I'm still wondering why we're compiling this list...?
TMNT (2003), 2 CDs TMNT 2 Battle Nexus, 3 CDs TMNT (2007), 3 CDs TMNT Mutant Melee, 2 CDs. AFAIK only the 2007 game had an American DVD version and Mutant Melee was PS2 exclusive in Europe.
