Was thinking about this the other day. Games that I have played so much or that were designed in such a way that is easy to remember everything about it. Here is a couple examples of what I mean. #1. Super Metroid - If I was forced to draw out every room from memory, I am almost certain I could. I consider this game to be mastered by myself, no stone unturned and no oddity that hasn't been performed. #2. Grand Theft Auto : Vice City - I seriously have the whole virtual city that comprises GTA:VC memorized. Every time I pickup & play it, I know where every thing is (Maybe not every hidden package, but you get the idea). So are there any games that you know your way around "to a T?"
Ah yes, I know exactly what you're on about Crazy. It's like you have the source code running through your head right? For me my games are: #1: Vigilante 8 - I know every location of weapons, where glitches are, and every combo known possible. #2: Viglante 8 2nd Offense: Same drill. #3: Blur - Know how fast every corner should be taken, timing the amount space between fire power ups behind. Which cars, for each track and so on. Many other games I could go on about but I guess that's enough of my bullshit for now
Sonic adventure 2 and sonic adventure 2 battle, except for how to get under 3 minutes on city escape, had to get a friend to do that one for me :/
Super Mario 64. Sonic 1. Sonic 2. Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Sonic 3D Blast. Sonic Spinball. Currently Working over these games for Xbox: Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Riders, and Sonic Heroes. Mostly done with Sonic Heroes but got more to learn for the other 2.
Super Mario World finished this game at least 20 times. Final Fantasy VII finished it 6 or more times. God of War 3, finished on Chaos difficulty mode a few times. Ninja Gaiden NES, know the position of every enemy in the game.
Sonic R, it flows in my blood ~cheesy! I haven't played it for ten years but when i went to a retro gaming festival couple years ago, i just picked up the controller and finished the game in 11-12 minutes with all the emeralds, approximately the same time that was my personal record when i was a kid. I could play the rest of the game but i left the gamepad cause i wanted to browse the rest of the consoles
THPS2, finished the game 100% with every character (takes me about 45min with one character now, if I play casually), cleared the gaplist and played countless hours giving myself impossible goals like "backflip off a wallride at leap of faith", on both Dreamcast and PSX. The only side of the game I haven't mastered are the board and character "customizations" tools.
2600 Adventure. I could almost show anyone the secret room blindfolded. Almost because of random element in the game. Legend of Zelda the original one. I can tell you where every hole and secret tree is in both first and second world.
Mega Man 3- I can do a no death run under the right circumstances Sonic 2- I can get up to the Metropolis Zone without dying.
1. Blast Wind. This is seriously the game I've spent the most time with, likely my favorite game of all time. 2. Shinrei Jusatsushi Taromaru - If Blast Wind is #1 this is #2. 3. Final Fantasy VI 4. Final Fantasy IV 5. Final Fantasy 6. Panzer Dragoon 7. Panzer Dragoon II Zwei 8. Panzer Dragoon Saga 9. NiGHTS After that I'm not so confident.
Ready to lol? Castle of Illusion- Master System at one stage with no death Asterix- Master System Land of Illusion- master System (Notice a trend- I only had a Master System up until I got a Playstation 3 months or so after they came out). Was a bit of a wizz at Silent Hill, a mate and I got that one down pat. Did alright at Tekken as well on PS.
Jim Powers - Amiga Midnight Resistance - Amiga Axelay - SNES Project X - Amiga Shadow Of The Beast 3 - Amiga Propably more but these games I will never forget. Even though I had 10+ years to play Project X and Jim Powers I simply cannot forget them. On my childhood buddies has completely mastered Castlevania SOTN
