i rareley start a game i dont finish atleast once.. i think the last one was Half-life 2 tho.. after running around for hours in shit-brown water killing the saaaame badguy over and over and over again i realised its an overhyped piece of shit, and quit.. (i dont play CS but i guess that must be where it shines?) Chain dive - nice game, cool gfx, sickeningly repetitive.. stopped about 2 hours or so in. a bunch of SNES rpgs, chrono trigger, terranigma, ogre battle etc etc, bought a shitload of em (cost a pretty penny too) only to realise i dont have the energy anymore for +50h RPGs, getting old is a real bitch! ofcourse ive tested out hundreds of games and never played them again but that hardly counts, i had atleast intentions to finish these..
FFVII is the first that comes to mind. I got to the Golden Saucer area, then never wanted to play again. It just didn't have the appeal that pre FFVII games had. Never picked up a FF games since =/ Nowadays, most games I play I never get a chance to revisit as I'm on to the next one to play/review after a week or so.
I guess my all time favorite was Startling Odyssey on the PC-Engine. Tried to play it ages ago in like 2000 I think. I got pretty far into it (at least 20 hours) then started getting my ass kicked, and quit.
Never replayed a Harvest Moon title, nor a Silent Hill. No desire to revisit KOTOR either, decent game but overrated, didn't even bother to finish KOTOR2. Still haven't finished Prime 2, don't know if I ever will, can't stand the "light world/dark world" gimmick. Never get tired of Pikmin, though :dance:.
Stalker. I played it once, and the crappy programming, bugs, and boring gameplay made me never play it again. Anyone want to trade for it? lol
^ Agreed! ^ ...Spent years waiting for it to appear, than spent 'hours' installing it on the latest cutting edge P.C to find the games is a piece of sh1t :banghead:
Meh, I can watch those on YouTube without having to drudge through the games. Maybe if they gave you more ammo....
hmmm Fire Emblem The Sacred Stones, is a game I am trying to play, and every damn time. I think it sucks, then I delete my save games. And curses it to hell, since (sorry I know I suck at games). But this game is fucking hard even on easy with all its help and stuff. But then again, I go back to it, when I feel like I want to play the game again. Call me crazy, but this game is cool on one side, and the other it makes me just a little pissed off at the same time. So I am biased, and ambivalent about the game. When it comes to never playing the game again. And play it over and over again.
