My local EBGames just got in their XBox360 demo unit, and said they'd be keeping their xbox one for a while yet. Oh well :/ On the bright side though, they got Kameo in stock, and are going to be selling them tommorow (unlike alot of stores that are waiting till the system is released). Oh, and it looks like the games for the 360 are comming in transparent green dvd cases this time, as opposed to solid green or the rumored silver for those that don't know.
im guessing some of the managers just take them home for themselves, but in most casese they just rid of them, still i feel the best kiosk was the snes one, it was about the right size, and used a flat screen tv, which when i think about it now they didnt really havet hose at the time aval to the public, or i could be wrong, i just remember that flat didnt really become a standard till wegas came out, now most new tvs are that way.
Nice, maybe I should check my local GAME stores...there's 3 within about 5mins walk from each other here, for some reason! Do they dismantle into smaller components that would fit in a car, or would you need to hire a truck/van? Stone
Thanks. I hope the managers at the Gamestops around here don't act like pricks. I'd love to pick one of those up.
I got one of these a while back, not from a game store though... A word of warning, they are very heavy and awkward, but great to have around the house. ...The fact that they come with a custom video cable that doubles up as a remote reset switch is kinda fun. ...They stand 6' tall, even stripping them down won't reduce the length by more than a few inches. ...Oh and btw the screws are of the Allen Headed variety, not a "square spanner kind" as quoted in the previous post above, lol
I so want one of these. If anyone sees one available in the anywhere near Birmingham, UK, give me a shout!
man the europen one is alot nicer then the one we got, ours is bulky and uses a low res tv, unlike the cube and ps2 ones that use digita hd flat screens.
I don't know why they toss stuff like that out. I'd love to get one, I've always wanted a store kiosk. I could find space for something like that in my apartment.
I think it was actually a monitor, but I'm not sure. I totally agree with you, tough, those were some nice kiosks. I wish I had one.
