With it being just 10 days away, What are you guys looking forward to in 2011 in Gaming? Heres mine: E3 (Well, That goes without saying) New PSP announcement N3DS Sega Dreamcast stuff on Xbox Microsoft Flight ;-)
Excluding unofficial stuff like fan translations etc, there's only three things that come to my mind: Fez, Portal 2 and Zelda: Skyward Sword. Maybe Rage too, but I've no idea if id's aiming for a '11 release with that, or later.
I'm looking forward to finally playing games that have been released for at least 10 years - same as every year, really.
If fortune smiles on me, economically speaking, I'll be getting 3DS near its release date. I'm really curious about this system.
I Think the new year which is comes, will be good in videogames. With the nintendo 3DS and a new psp , what im going to buy !
Besides games like GoW3 and DS2 (still getting that one despite the graphics) I'm waiting to see how the PSP2 will be Also getting some news on the next gen of consoles would be awesome, but I bet we're not going to hear anything until 2012-13
I'm looking forward to next-gen console announcements (probably from the three companies), and of course Portal 2 and TES5: Skyrim.
Uncharted 3, potential HL3 announcement. Sonic 20th anniversary (surely something good has to come of it).

I just made my preliminary list but the big ones I'm looking forward to are... Elder Scroll: V Mass Effect 3 Forza 4 Batman: Arkham City
Nintendo 3DS Mass Effect 3 Last Story If they come out, add Project Draco and Steel Battalion Kinect to that list. Otherwise, thats it.
I think the best we can honestly expect is for "Sonic Team" (AKA Dimps under the direction of Takashi Iizuka) to finally call it a day and publically apologise for the last ten years or so of Sonic games. Better yet, it would be fantastic if Yuji Naka, Naoto Ohshima and Hirokazu Yasuhara were invited to assist with the development of one last great final send-off for the long-in-the-tooth hedgehog as opposed to another hastily-churned-out, half-baked idea built around some new gimmick. Heck, even completing Sonic Xtreme would be more welcome! Again, the most we can hope for now is the rumoured English translation of Shenmue City. Besides, what good is a Shenmue III now Takenobu Mitsuyoshi has confirmed that his involvement with the series ended years ago? You'd also need more than just Yu Suzuki at the helm to make it a proper sequel - let's not forget the contributions of Keiji Okayasu, Shin Ishikawa and countless others in making the first two installments... On a personal level, I'm just hoping Sega's planned Dreamcast reissue campaign leads into more light being shed on the company's Saturn-era work, including a long-overdue Model 2 and Model 3 collection. After all, we know Sega has Model 2 emulation perfected because of Dayt... er, I meant Sega Racing Classic, which is another title I'd love to see receive a home conversion some day soon. Finally, would it be too much to ask for Shenmue Saturn Version, Saturn Virtua Fighter 3 and the Biohazard 2 prototype to finally leak?
For those waiting for next gen console, i don't think there will be any. At least not in 2011. Microsoft is probably gonna earn some money with the Kinect and and Sony just had one good year with the PS3 (because of the slim) and also expects some money with the Move. Both the Kinect and Move are "new" products and they still plan profit with them. If you remember how much time they were losing money and then add the whole economy crisis, it wouldn't be a smart choice (IMO) to release a new product that a) is gonna cost a lot to produce b) they'll lose money on the retail price on each one and c) not much people will actually want / or have money to buy it. The X360 and PS3 still costs 300 dollars today, just imagine how much an improved and more powerful product would cost. I think they all learnt the lesson from the 600 dollars launch PS3. They are probably already working on R&D, but i wouldn't count with a next-gen console in 2011. Maybe in late 2012. And that's a maybe.
