As i said there isnt any fricking need for there to be any contract or anything. The goods belong to the members here and if they wish to hand them over to me he should comply.

He did not want to do this because clearly there seems theres little people can do to actually get their goods. Hes a rip off.

I would recomend people get intouch with the police over here over this however due to the type of goods involved this can be abit tricky.

I'm not sure what the laws are over there, but in the USA according to my NDA's i'm not really sure the buyer could get in trouble. The seller could face huge (and we're talking very huge) fines for selling what he's selling, in the USA he could be arrested for selling stolen property (the dev kits still belong to Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo, not to him. In essence, he's stealing them). The buyers couldn't get in trouble, as they have never possessed the goods! I'd call the police if i were a buyer. Then i'd call the microsoft piracy hotline. Then the Sony piracy hotline. Then i'd call the nintendo piracy hotline.

And it wasn't only ppl on these boards that were ripped of by that douchebag; I remember a few X-S members that also lost money due to this guy.

I guess there needs to be a thread dedicated to people who rip others off... you know, to prevent those who visit here and other forums to be ripped off elsewhere...

Well if the guy lived in America, you could report him to the police and since he conned you guys over $5,000 worth of stuff, he would face felony charges. The bad charges.

What would be the legal implications of posting the FULL details

IE Real name, full address & contact numbers?

Can`t see an issues as they would be fleecing people of money and not issueing goods.

Go for it Paulo create a SHIT LIST

Gavroche can be the first inductee on the hall of shame

Hopefully we can add all the systems / dev / de bug etc so whenever anyone searches for rip off xbox dev kit

    GAVROCHE

Paulo, it's really easy to know if someone block you on MSN (block and delete the guy, go to Tools/options/confidentiality, right click on the guy in the right panel and if delete option is in black and not in grey so he blocked you).

I know Paulo offered in the past and it amounted to nothing..but I am uk based and mobile and would be happy to pay him a visit too (no untoward intentions I might add..not my style), or provide transport for someone who would know what to take what is owed (if he still has it)

I'd be willing to pick things up and post them in return for some transport and postage costs.Plus, If you didn't pay up then I'd have a few devkits to play with

Those are good ideas guys, but does anyone actually know where he lives at this point? All I remember from when we dealt is that his name is Luke Ashley Twydell and I believe he was in North Hertfordshire but I can't remember anything else. Supposedly he also moved, so that wouldn't really be any help if he did.

I would be willing to give someone reliable either cash or some pieces of the lot as I'd just sell 'em off anyway at this point. But we'd have to find him first.

Yeh, I agree. There should be a "Buyer Beware"/"Trolls" forum for such people and also post contact details, such as email, IP addresses, etc.
