You don't have to destroy a Dreamcast to get it to run a GDR. Follow Mark30001's instructions.

Nice, the writing in some of your discs is identical also to some GD-Rs that I have.
And yes Use Mark30001 instructions, don't worry you're not going to destroy your Dreamcast, I used the "swap" method for GD-Rs lots of times and no problems :)

That's because it is BuyA, he kinda didn't make it clear enough but he has DC and PS2 stuff.

You know they say the laser radiation you're exposed to when doing swap tricks is bad for you. Anyone got cancer yet? Or would it be radiation poisoning or something.

The only danger is to your eyes if you look into the beam. I don't think there is a radiation issue at all :)

I could be completely wrong though.

dvdmike, you really should try out the swap trick. I used to load my gd-r discs using this method (even when I was drunk!!!).
Dreamcast is so easy to strip down & fix back together. All you need to do is unscrew 4 screws. If you dont want to 'destroy' one of your dc's go pick one up from Gamestation for a few quid or a car boot sale or something. You may find some interesting stuff on the gdr :)
