no idea how im going to test them as have no access to a TEST ps2 and dont want to destroy one of my pal dreamcasts
indeed it is. its repeats alot but its a good mag knowing how "handy" i am with things like that i will end up with half the dreamcast embedded in my eye lol
Nice, the writing in some of your discs is identical also to some GD-Rs that I have. And yes Use Mark30001 instructions, don't worry you're not going to destroy your Dreamcast, I used the "swap" method for GD-Rs lots of times and no problems
You know they say the laser radiation you're exposed to when doing swap tricks is bad for you. Anyone got cancer yet? Or would it be radiation poisoning or something.
If you ever get interested in getting rid of one of those MvC2's just drop me a PM, i know i'm kinda new, but this is something i've really wanted. and nice catch ^_^
The only danger is to your eyes if you look into the beam. I don't think there is a radiation issue at all I could be completely wrong though.
dvdmike, you really should try out the swap trick. I used to load my gd-r discs using this method (even when I was drunk!!!). Dreamcast is so easy to strip down & fix back together. All you need to do is unscrew 4 screws. If you dont want to 'destroy' one of your dc's go pick one up from Gamestation for a few quid or a car boot sale or something. You may find some interesting stuff on the gdr
update havent got them to work with a disc swap yet but i am going back to where i got them this week to see what else i can pick up
its pal standard the only 2 discs i have sold so far were ps2 want should i be looking of for the dc discs if i were to sell them
