Hi, just dropped in here as I saw your request for volunteers in the USB-GD drive thread.
I was wondering if it would be possible to play an iso with MP3s from HDD for the Xploder MP3 iso.

On that note, and in line with your quote above, I'm actually thinking if, yes, would it be possible to make a media player (still need to check out if Dreamshell has such an app) and stream through BBA from the computer OR even load files from the HDD itself (avi, mp3 etc...) for people without any BBA? (Along the lines of XBMC, WiiMC)

This would clearly solve all the problems generated with compiling CDI/GDI files and size limitations, although the software created should be able to resize video output and maybe(?) can't be done by RAM limitations or whatever.

Just throwing up a ball here...
Still would like to test files if needed when I get my 2TB Passport HDD.

EDIT: was just wondering if it's possible to have two 2.5 HDDs on the USB-GD unit through a splitter for that.

No idea on the dual Hard drives... i do know that the fat32 is the 2tb limit issues... but i know of groups that do custom fat32 for wii-u and PS3 to use larger than 2TB drives... but seems no one on here has anything larger they can test..
