not confusing at all. Entity A thought they had every bit of legal right to own the whole of the Ghostbusters IP and then out of the blue Entity B comes and legitimately claims some rights. There's a halt on everything to avoid paying extra damages in case of a court action and they try to hustle a deal between the right-holders in order to give the green light. If the cost of such a double-blood-sucking is too high compared to the sought revenue then the project will not proceed under the Ghostbusters IP but as something different.
See, but Im surprised they would leak shots AGAIN, we all knew they didnt have the rights to the game.
Its not confusing...its just everything but the gameplay footage was legit. I.e. the teaser trailer and screen of stay puff is real.
But look on gamersyde, there is a 720p shot of the Stay Puft, along with shots of parts of the gameplay.
Uhh... that article is dated from 16th of January. That news is for the original Zootfly version we all knew was unlicensed. Stop confusing 11/16/07 with 1/16/07
old news that mate. That article is referring to a very old beta movie, not the stuff shown the last few days. Yakumo EDIT: Should have read page two before this post
Just got game informer in the mail today. Wii version looked like crap, very cartoony and not that impressive. 360 version looks like the way to go.
SHIT ! The bastards! No way I'm getting a 360 only to have to buy another in 1 years time (If lucky). Yakumo
PS3, are you mad ! Way too much money for a way too big box  Also I won't support Sony anymore. The cocky bastards are going down  Yakumo
Do you happen to have a scanner? I'd love to see these articles. Even if the Wii version looks like shit now. I do have faith in the development team as mushroom men looks kick ass. Guys do everyone a favor and email the team. Being a incrediblly company (only working on about 2 games) they obviously don't get much mail. So your comments and concerns will be heard.
send it to me via email and I'll host it at a crazy resolution for you !! I'll PM you my mail address. Yakumo
Hmmm... I'm Torn Kotaku Reports that "while there's ten single-player missions, the bulk of the game is indeed focused around multiplayer party sideshows, like who can bust up the most furniture, a 2v2 battle mode, ghost-catching races, that sort of stuff" HOWEVER, infendo recently published a open letter to Red Fly Studios And the guys even came out and responded in their blog, with some promising stuff. http://devblog.redflystudio.com/2007/11/27/open-letter-from-infendo/ Still, guys you should definitely email Red Fly and let them know that a solid single player experience is key. And Online Multiplayer will be a must after SSBB is released. There's no excuse for not implementing online.
