Girl plays video games til she passes out, has to get feet amputated

As much as I want to have marathon gaming session I don't have it in me anymore. Some games though I can play for hours, Mostly old school games, it's no coincidence my Saturn is getting more love these days than my 360

 

In a way, I miss the time when I could do an all-nighter with ease. I seem to recall the last game that I completed in a single late night sitting was The Getaway (that final stage was really annoying - especially when you kept failing and had to restart, driving across what felt like the whole of London several times over before finally succeeding), though my fondest memories will forever be with Sonic R and Shenmue. On the other hand, every time I try these days I feel dreadful after just a few hours, though I guess that could be linked to various health problems made worse by lack of regulated sleep. Besides, games last longer now... As for sitting long enough to require amputated legs, I've not quite reached that level of excess before. However, I do blame epic marathon sessions of Sega Touring Car and WipEout 2097 with my nose virtually pressed up to my TV in the dark during my youth for the reason my sight is now truly awful. Does that count for something?

 

as recent as....last week I was up until 3 am playing Sonic 2. Sonic 2 I can just play...and play and play and play and play.

 

No playing DDR for her anymore LOL, hard to feel any sympathy when it was of her own doing.

I remember on my last playthrough of Bayonetta I played for like 12+ hours from the point I was at until I finished.
I also recently played Crysis Warhead and I played through all of it in around 15+ hours (with breaks)(the first and second game also in 2-8+ hour chunks)
With Front Mission 4 a few months ago I played it in 3-10+ hour chunks.

 

ew she isn't even all that attractive. too bad about the feet but if she had anything besides a pea sized brain she would have done an actual art project rather than playing video games which is not art. i see people with this mentality every day, very sad.

 

I think the people that can play for long periods of time probably move around more than those that can't when they are sitting. I rarely ever hold that still even if I'm sitting and playing a game. It's just too uncomfortable to truly hold still. Even at the movie theater I don't sit that still in the seat, I have to move some. I used to play Xbox 360 for long stretches night after night, possibly 6 to 8 hours some nights. But I couldn't literally sit there glued. I'm sure it's true some people are more vulnerable to problems, and maybe it's those people that really can sit still for a long time.

 

This reminds me of another artsy project made by a sick fuck who chained a dog to a wall and starved it to death.

Next time I want to kill somebody I'm going to take photos of it and said it was some postmodernist anti-chauvinistic revelation or some shit.

Pro tip: the actual "art project" was the making of that video CLAIMING to have played video games till she lost her feet. It never actually happened.
In the 21st century, "art" and "trolling" are synonyms.

Even with our lans in high school where I'd play for 12 hours, I'd still get up every once in a while to get pizza and mt. Dew....

Yeah. I've done some marathon gaming sessions. When COD Black Ops came out, I played...for a long time. Sometime last summer I put a 18 hour day into playing MW2. Woke up, and just played until the next morning and went to sleep.

Halo LANs in high school still required some time to take a leak, etc. I tried to have a good old school gaming session the other day but I just kept getting frustrated with all my old games and ADD kicked in. :/

The sad thing is, while I used to could play games for 12 hours on end, the last thing I've done for 12 hours on end is work... and I've done that every day the last 2 weeks. Enjoy your youth, boys.
