Na, no windows, but man, let me tell you, this thing is freakin amazing. Ive had no troubles at all, other then the obvious adjustments. The camera feature built in is freakin nuts, the keyboard, the screen ,everything, worth every damn penny.
It looks like they might have XP running natively on the MacIntels: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=11731 Word of warning though, the site seems to be getting hammered. It starts getting good around page 6 or 7.
Well, I tried to put up with it for three days and I give up. Personally, I think that OS X is one of the most poorly designed OS's available (I described it to my wife as feeling like what a Fisher Price version of Linux might feel like). Aside from that, I just don't like how the case actually feels. It is sturdy, but it feels too small for me. Anyway, pics here: http://mouse.pouncingkitten.com/ebay/. I put it up on eBay, so check the eBay thread for the link.
Well, it's on ebay so no going back really, but like any OS, OSX takes some time to get used to. I spent a fair amount of time with it on under-spec'd machines, and came away with a bittersweet taste in my mouth; I remember thinking it'd be decent if it was a lot faster, though I couldn't see a great deal of raw functional superiority, nor have I found anyone capable of suggesting anything truly substantial to me - it's mostly UI and software/hardware aesthetics. There's an interesting anadtech article where the author dedicates a month to getting to know OSX, and he came away pretty satisfied. I think a month is pretty much the minimum acquaintance time for checking out something as mammoth as an OS.
Speaking of macs, I found this blog about a guy who no matter what he does he just cant have one. Is kinda sad since he sounds like he really wants a mac.
