So I'm on the hunt for an Initial D Stage 3 machine and there is nothing here on Long Island so I was wondering if there are any good arcades I should check out this spring when I go to NYC with my friends.

Chinatown Arcade on Mott Street is amazing. It has some version of Initial D (I cant remember), Tekken 6, Blazblue, Street Fighter 4, Melty Blood, plus a ton of older stuff (including a few NeoGeo machines)

Did you mean Mott street? I was looking at a review of that and somebody said the place is filled with cigarette smoke.

Na, only reason I have that is because my friend took it while I was playing :p Its a nice little arcade though, with a good selection of games, new and old.

Im not sure if NY is the same as it is here in Ohio or where my family is in Arizona, but in the 2 states i just named it is illegal to smoke inside of any building, unless the building in question is your house. Hell, its illegal to smoke outside within 50 feet of any entrances to any businesses. If thats the case in NY, you dont have to worry about the arcade being all smokey:icon_bigg.

I just watched a video. This place looks incredible. From what I've been hearing they got an Initial D Stage 4 machine! I've been having Initial D and DDR withdrawal since the Bayshore mall closed their arcade.

Its really got an old arcade feel to it in some ways, which is awesome. There was always a crowd watching, whether it was DDR or SF4, it was great :p

mmm... i just dropped like $24 playing SFIV for a few hours last night. awesome game. i'm super excited now for the console release. the console release will more than likely kill the arcade version though.
