Hello all. Does anyone happen to know a good place (preferably UK based to save on hideous P&P) I can get a clear display case? It preferably needs to be about 300 L x 300 W x 200 H but I don't mind larger.

    Thanks!

So in the top of the case there is a round hole. Maybe 2-3 inch diameter. It comes with plugs to fill it, if you don't want to add a light.
For another $10, I chose to add this light: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30119314/

You can run cables to it, but as it's all glass you'll definitely want to pay attention to cable management.

Cheers for the replies! I'll check out the Ikea near me and see if they have any good display cases like those ones.

Do the display cases at Ikea have UV protection?

I was going to use those exact cases, but I didnt for one simple reason : 6kg per shelf. People have had the shelves break on them in the past for going over that, just imagine your collection crashing down. The original Xbox is almost 4kg on its own, and a controller and a few things and bam, weight limit.

An Xbox would take up an entire shelf itself anyway though, at least not without looking ugly with controllers/games piled on top of it.

But thanks for the tip, I'll make sure I don't get a shelf that can't support the weight of my items. Cheers.
