Ummm, I know I posted here earlier so would someone tell me where that post went. i'd like to know that I'm not crazy.

 

It was actually a joke, first printed by a British newspaper. I thought it was pretty funny because 1) They printed it on November 3rd. 2) Well, I kind of agree with it.

 

What made me laugh hard as I was istening to the radio and it ha d anews bulletin with Kerry's running partner saying they will wait 'till every vote has been counted because it's what the people deserve. Then a few hours later on the radio it announced Kerry's surrender. Did the people no longer deserve to wait? :smt083

 

Only if they had something to gain it seems. By the way someone please tell me (see above) if I'm going insane.

i'd think it'd be a good thing if you could say the last war your country was involved with/in was wwII but thats just my opinion.

 

Not quite, the UK was involved (in fact, one of the 2 parties) in the Falkland conflict, Desert Storm, the repeated bombing of Servia and also the 2nd Gulf War. Or are you referring to France?

 

well this country i am living in has not been in war since God knows when

but yes they are down in Iraq if that counts

 

yah i was talkin about france anti, but they did lend a hand in 91 with the first desert storm i think right? oh well, war is terribly dumb. and so are the reasons for it. im not a flower child or anything but i think of all people as one brethren. sure we have different political,religious etc beliefs but if this is the extent of our evolution then we haven't accomplished much and we should get anihilated by aliens or something
