Yeah I know that so no harm done. but the whole idea in General seems to be pointless now. All copyright is controlled by YouTube now, also every person on YouTube that makes a living from it, are not with anyone but YouTube... I don't really care about making money from videos, I only really care about if people like my content.. Any money made from YouTube (like that will happen lol) I'll just put back into it... but yeah, back on topic haha
I signed up with them. You can cut the cord after 12 months if you don't like the service. They have a decent royalty-free music library, and have better analytics tools than Youtube's standard ones, but that's about it. The good thing is that they don't ask much in return, just make a video semi-frequently.
I just don't want to be partnered at all unless it was with ScrewAttack. I'd rather not have the claims up the ass because I'm making $2 per 10,000 views.
I am partnered with UnionforGamers / Curse. They are one of the best when it comes to terms. Sure, they arent going to heavily promote you or anything, but the ad revenue is almost double what I had without them, I can leave at any time, no video requirements, or anything like that. Its a 90-10 split, which is hard to beat. If anyone wants a link, I will gladly post mine here, gets us both money I think. Im certainly making more than $2 per 10000 views hah, dont know if I can discuss the specifics though. Still more than I was making with Youtube.
I think so, need to double check. You need either 1000 subscribers or 8000 views in the past month to qualify though. Edit: Maybe not. I might just get a cut of the networks share for a few months hah. Still, if anyone meets those requirements and wants to sign up, let me know or click here
