Gran Turismo HD on PS3 cancelled

Ok, that is just freaky. I guess this is what happens when ASSEMbler plays around with space and time. h:

 

Better download it on Christmas Eve or it will be gone forever! (Doubt it)

 

Sorry to bump such an oooold thread, but a mate just snagged a PS3 and wanted to get this installed. Can't seem to find it on the store anymore, though I do have a copy of the PKG file backed up over here.

Is there any way to install this onto a retail unit? I've only ever seen the package installer option on TEST units.

You should be able to sign in to a PSN account that has previously downloaded GTHD and download it to the new system.

Just sign in, visit the Playstation Store, click on the download list and then find GTHD.

 

Or get a Gran Turismo HD install disc at Yahoo Auctions

 

It was possible to download install PKG files from a PC using a proxy server, not sure if the latest firmwares have killed that one. Still click here to find out

 

I hope that still works (and continues to), specially to save those pkg files for the future.

 

They blocked it a while ago with a firmware update. Maybe 8months?
