So... I can't really remember if this was discussed before, but I'd guess it was and I can't find it. I found the following ebay item (no, I'm not the buyer): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sony-Playst...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 I remember seeing many regular PS1 listed as DTL due to eBay having DTL as standard model number, so at first sight, seeing the console is gray (or grey?), I thought it was yet another listing with wrong model number... until I saw the second picture, which clearly shows a label with model number DTL-H1001. I thought all PS1 Debugging stations were either green or blue (maybe even different shades of these colors, or with the controllers/memory cards slots in a different color), but I can't remember seeing a gray one. Is this rare? Thoughts?
Also, one other thing I just noticed: The label says Sony Computer Enterainment Inc. even though it's the american model... did the label in all consoles / debug stations say SCEI instead of SCEA or SCEE according to the region?
It's been discussed here at least twice, i may have posted in one of those threads. It's been a while though, I don't remember.
1) Totally legit. 2) Produced early on in the PS1 lifecycle. 3) Buyer got a steal. 4) Rarer than Green or Blue debug. 5) We've had threads on these in the past here.
