Luckily I would get PC GTA V just for the single player mods. It'd be nice to have a group of 3-4 to play Online with, though. I wouldn't even attempt to play open Online. I remember playing 360 Online and some guy had his kid screaming and crying into the mic. After a few minutes of that, I just said, "nobody wants to hear your kid, dude." His response was priceless. "Don't be talking about my kid, I'll fucking kill you." These are the types of individuals you get with a game this popular.
Strange request... does anyone here swim in cash$$$ and wouldn't mind giving me some in the 360 version? lol Background is that I'm really starting to be frustrated with other players who simply keep dying or quitting heists. Tried a $60k heist for 50 minutes yesterday and in the end someone just quit. Wasting hours on end just to get some pitiful money is truly not how I define to have some after work evening fun. And then there's always the random D-bags who just blow you up from far with a rocket launcher. You start a 1on1 and notice they're on God mode anyways while they just keep shooting you. Sigh. The anger builds up...
Why do game companies never take "players will just shoot every other player they see" into consideration when designing online games? Aside from the jerks who do this just to be an asshole, it's also the easiest way to play. Need money and equipment? Simply kill other player who has already done the work for you. Sorta spoils the whole "open world" thing when the majority of players just treat it like they're playing a round of Quake death match.
But in GTA V you do not even get the money and equipment when you kill someone else. You just get a tiny amount of EXP and that's it most of the time... I think these killers are just assholes who enjoy ruining the game for others. I really have no other explanation... especially for those cunts who just drive around in their retarded pink armored Kurumas and throw explosives at you. One time I actually finished a heist setup and everyone was thrown back into the lobby with a short cut scene smoking cigarettes. Nice, I thought, and even successful. Maybe do that more often? Then one of the guys killed the entire party with shotguns and blew up all our cars. The other guys then left the game. What a twat, seriously... lol. I guess I'll have to buy the One-version someday and play with my friends (who have all switched already). Sigh... just hopeless.
You and I need to switch over to the PC version. I'm been jonesing for some GTA V and I don't want my first experiences being like this or else I just won't play. I guess the 360 version has gotten worse because I used to be able to do Survivals and other stuff all the time without much of an issue.
