It'd be a LOT easier if every level had the mech suit and a shotgun right before the boss.

I'd say that picture is from an old Mega Drive shooter such as Aero Blasters / Air Buster or maybe even Garies.

Madhatter's pic looks like Vasara... but it isn't because there's no Samurai stuff. .. hum... it's not Shienryu either, too high def.
