Man, Hollywood does sure love to rape stuff from the 80s'.

 

Hollywood loves to rape stuff period. Old movies, old TV shows, asian cinema, etc...please just leave them alone.

 

Typical Hollywood bullshit, didn't even bother seeing the first one.

Clash of the titans is also being remade, and another sequel to Starship Troopers is comming (which it looks like they'll be mechs in it.)

 

i only saw the first one because it was on TV in a department store and i was waiting for my parents to get done shopping, so i sat in the recliner, watched the mov ie, and read a copy of EGM...

NOT looking forward to a sequel.

 

The new one is actually the true sequel to the first one or at least thats how it appears to me.

 

I didn't even know there was a Starship Troopers 2... now 3 is getting released here.

 

It was a direct-to-DVD release, and from what I've read it's awful

I saw it on TV and although I'm quite a big fan of the first movie, I must say that part II is pure shit. Badly animated fights, mostly taking place in sandstorms and the original cast vanished completely except for major Zim.

 

Anyoe start a pool yet on how long until there's a pr2n? :lol:

 

I read somewhere the chipmunks movie was small-budget, yet a blockbuster, which explains why theres gonna be a sequel.

Y'all think Transformers was the worst they could get from the 80s? wait until you see the HeMan and Robotech flicks (starring the guy from the spiderman movies).

 

You do know the Chipmonks had a cartoon in the 60's right? So technically the 80's Chipmonks raped the 60's Chipmonks first. In any case screw the little rats. Nobody cares about them.

Now if you want to talk about a true rape of 80's culture then you should know that the Hollywood bean counters in their infinite wisdom have decided to remake the original Robocop. Now that my friends is just fucking wrong.

The first movie sucked moose balls. Mabye word will get out that this one is even worse, and it will flop. Flop like the crap that it is. :evil:

 

Gah, Robocop remake, let us hope it does not suck - there is the potential for something cool (if unnecessary.)

New He-Man movie, normally I would be threatening bloody dork revenge over that, but we will have to see. I wouldn't mind Seeing He-Man come back again as the new figures they made a few years ago were pretty cool.

Robotech, they've been trying to get that one off the ground for a while, if it ever happens it will probably be a travesty, but once again let us not judge.

What they should make is a Usagi Yojimbo movie.

 

Ah yes. But I'm more familiar with the 80's version. My bad.

How can you say that when the movie made more then $220 million in North America alone???

 

I bet that robocop sequel is the robocop2 script frank miller did in the 80s and studios didnt use (instead they went for the bigass crackhead-robot).

They must be eager to use it now that every movie based on some of miller's comics becomes a box-office success.

 

After glancing at just some of the crap released, I'd rather see Chuck Norris do a Missing in Action 4. Hollywood drops more turds than makes nuggets.

 

Its not a sequel, just like Batman Begins wasnt either
