Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns coming to wii.

I don't know if anyone has been fortunate enough to
have had both in their arcade (rip), but this promises to
    be one awesome release!

    What next?? Emergency Ambulance???:cur_sonic:

Nice. I wonder if it'll have updated graphics or not?

I wouldn't think that they'd update the graphics. They'll be straight arcade ports which is still very cool.

Ghost Squad is a very good game. I had that on my Wii back in the day. Loved playing that along with House of the Dead 3 (never really liked 2 even on the DC) and HOTD OverKill.

Do you recommend some of that plastic-like-pistol for wii? Or just pointing the wiimote to the tv screen is "arcade" enough?

    Awww, hell ya,

LA Machine guns is one of my favorite Sega shooters but are they going to upgrade the graphics and models or is it going to be a straight port?

Well, for these games, you'd really need a big ass gun for a true experience.

Hope they don't update the models, there's something about mid-to-late-90s Sega arcades that just appeals to me. Maybe it's the blocky 3D models or the bright color schemes. Besides, the redone Virtua Cop graphics were kinda lame.

QFT. I just watched the Video, man, the game looks exactly like I want my arcade games to look, like a N64 or Saturn game.

There are only 3 Arcade cabs I always wanted and one of those was LA Machine guns. Sega is really kicking arse with all these awesome Wii releases.

Don't use the pistol, use the zapper. It will feel more like a machine gun.

This is good news. Maybe they will bring over Brave Firefighters now. That game screams Wii. :flamethrower:

For me, without the giant pulsing machine gun, it's going to be missing a huge part of what made the arcade fun. Without it, I'm not sure how it will turn out.

So you're saying that the only thing that made these games fun to you was the giant vibrating piece of black plastic...?

I'm thinking about taking one of my cheap airsoft gns and gutting it and fitting in a Wii remote. Someone did it with a real MP5 SMG. The wii zapper doesn't look fun to use, there are some better looking guns out there. I started looking into them as well after playing Ghost Squad. I would love a home port of the recent RAMBO lightgun game.

How is the new Rambo lightgun game? We have one at the local Dave & Busters by me but I haven't got the chance to play it.
