    WOW, have any of you tried or seen any videos in h.264? it looks AMAZING. I downloaded x264"free" and encoded an anime opening and HOLLY CRAP is only 20mb and has 192kbps audio, 640x480 and it doesnt have ANY pixelation at all, not even friggin noise! it trully is a great thing :boobies2 i can upload it to a server for you guys to watch if you want me to, the quality is AMAZING! alot better than xvid and divx :dance

    http://x264.nl/ :) maybe we can get 640x480 retrocore :p, i can help you out if you want, you can probably make it look just like the dvd and 700mb for like a 1:30hr ep.

    Yeah, I've heard nothing but good things about x264, but taking into account my PC can't even play 720x480 divx/xvid at full speed I think I'll give any more sophisticated codec a miss for now -_-

    I've just downloaded it. I'll give it a try on the new Retro Core too see how well it compresses the MPEG 2 in to MPEG 4.

    I finished uploading a video to yakumo's ftp server, an episode of one piece , dvdrip 640x480 no pixelation at all :)
    edit: forgot to mention the most important thing, is only 80mb, hehehe.
