I was just curious what you guys thought about this game. Not so much the gameplay itself, but the timeliness of the game, as well as the implications that are associated with it. A game named "Hail to the Chimp", which is a "Presidential party game", is release on January 24th 2009, four days after the inauguration of Barack Obama, the first black president... Don't you think someone would have caught this? Did no one at Wideload Games or Gamecock Media Group think it was in bad taste? I personally bought a copy because I have a funny feeling it may be pulled from the shelves soon, and it will be somewhat collectible. Maybe that was their plan all along and they're marketting geniuses. Who knows?
The game was released around the elections, last year. At least in the US. (tothegame: 24-Jun-2008 US). So I think you got your dates mixed up... or they re-released the game? (the game is fun to play in multiplayer btw)
oh hahah wow im an idiot. thats what I get for getting very little sleep last night. this thread can now be used to make fun of me. christ im dumb. lol. edit: despite it being released last year, I still think its slightly in bad taste.
the game was actually to be released on the original Xbox. There is a beta on a Debug Xbox sold right here... http://www.chasethechuckwagon.com/item.cgi?show_item=0000066682 Considering it was in development before Obama was even running, I think you're looking into things too much (in a way that might deem YOU racist...)
already edited it I thought it was ebay, tried to find it. then i checked CTCW, and there it was. It's already been linked.
