I'm getting the Halo Legendary edition as well. Then I'm going to put its box on top of my Halo 360's box, then put my Halo Zune's box on top of the Legendary's box, and then take a picture.

I never understood the point when you can't wear the helmet. The cost is insane. You should cry in the corner too because Saturn > Halo big time.

I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't. But it might be worth it to buy an extra Halo 3 edition 360 system to sell later when they are hard to find new. The only drawback is the red lights of death syndrome. I know I wouldn't want an older 360.
I've ordered the legendary pack in three different game stores and I know I'll end up with none, just like Bioshock's collectors edition :crying:

Is it hollow on the inside? If so then I'm just waiting for the inevitable Pet/Small Child suffocates in Halo helmet story to eventually pop up.

Well I'm sure MS werent that dumb as to not put a sticker that says "dont wear this helmet", with all the stupid lawsuits going around these days... And how can you drill holes into that? and just for a halloween constume?!:banghead: I think you can buy an entire MC battlesuit on ebay.

Call them up to find out if you can use it on hardware. If so yeah why not. Done it my self: If you have an MBNA credit card you can get 10% off vouchers at john lewis and i think they have the console. Apart from that i cant think of other discounts you could get. I guess you can use a voucher at dixons and if you have an egg card save another 5% ontop. Or currys/pc world theres a NHS voucher loads of people use to get 5% off.
amidst the hype of halo, i finally bought Gears of War used and finished it in co-op in 8 hours yesterday.
Hmmm that helmet is a lot bigger than I expected it to be. Looks really sweet I wished I had put a preorder down now.
Yeah, that helmet looks slick. I don't know where I'm going to display it, but I'm definitely going to be dusting it once a week. :lol: That said, I am looking forward to seeing what Halo 3's day one sales are like. I believe 3 million copies have been pre-ordered, which is insane considering that Wal-Mart is typically one of the biggest sellers of videogames (and they don't do pre-orders in store), so I imagine Halo 3 is going to annihilate most sales records rather quickly. Only problem is... now that Halo is "over", what the hell is MS going to do now? Heh, come the Xbox720 or whatever, they're certainly going to be lost. :lol:
