HALO 3: LEGENDARY EDITION

And forgot mine arrived this morning, but after I left so no play until tonight :-(

 

I know what you mean I'm playing COD 4 Beta on live ATM and I miss the days when I didn't have a headset... F... F... all the time and being called French F... not a pleasant exeperience, at least I frag them which is satisfying anyway...

It's really good the game's got an AK47 with grenade launcher which is good fun for me . Graphically it is superb, limited bugs, works like a treat for a beta.

I don't think the ending after the credits is canon. I think Bungie intended for Master Chief to die, and only threw in that last bit after the credits because Microsoft wanted some insurance. And basically, I think the entire bit was metaphorical. When Master Chief tells Cortana, "Wake me if you need me," I took that as Bungie telling Microsoft, "Hey, we're done with Halo, but if you really need it again, we can bring it back. This exists so that if MS is in a bind, we can push out a new entry in the series since it IS the Xbox brand's system seller."

I thought the ending was great though, and it was pretty much how I felt it should have ended. Master Chief "ran out of luck" in the end. Perfect.

MS still has Gears of War 2 I guess.

I had to try 3 different LE cases, much to the dislike of the Target employees. The game was worth it though, and multiplayer is a blast WITH PEOPLE YOU KNOW. Seriously, I don't even plug in my mic with random people.

 

I'm on Disc one of the Halo 3 essentials dvd. :nod:


EDIT: You know what, Halo 3 doesn't have clan support... so no ASSEMbler clan... too bad cause we'd OWN! I'm a 35 Lieutenant in Lone Wolves right now. It's sooo fun!!

 

i m looking forward to Gears of War 2. Halo 3 was barely worth its hype imo, and i ve finished the game twice already.

I agree. The ending was great. It leaves room for addons, spinoffs, whatever we can imagine can happen.

I would love to see a diffrent game in the future maybe where you play a marine or something and you lead a team to search across the galexy for the chief or something. Dosent even have to FPS, could be RPG or something >_>
