Ok, alot of your probably dont know that since the new year i was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma (a type of cancer). I had been taken into hospital about 3 days after xmas and was away from the forums for a while and have been on and off for the last 7 months. All due to having my chemotherapy treatment and some complications. However when possible its allways been nice to come here and talk to people and take my mind off things. Well today ive had an appointment at the hospital and have been told that i am likely to be cured of it all. I say likely because ive had a PET scan and a CT scan that are telling different things but the likelyhood is that i am ok. I will find out for sure in 3 months time ;-) However for now i am really happy i dont have to have chemotherapy anymore and that i am (i hope) cured of it all. Now i can at least enjoy some of the summer left and think about going back to university!

Congrats, man! Chemotherapy can be taxing on your body, but you're young and you can regain your old strength back. Good to hear you're going to be fine.
That's really good news! Let's hope that in three months time you will look back at this and be happy you made it ok. As I am sure you will be. It's great to hear that someone has overcome souch serious condition.
:thumbsup: Great to hear man. Be glad that you have dealt with in your youth, my grandfather got it in his late 60s and it killed him less then a year later. Anyway I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer. Take it easy!
Congrats Paulo, it's excellent to know you'll be alright. My mom had cancer as well, and had to go to chemotherapy too, but now she's alright.
