My 4th has been amazing. I'm currently sitting out on a deck which is situated right at the mouth of the Hood Canal. Everyone (Including my family and me) are shooting off all sorts of fireworks. It's quite a sight to be seen, the entire night sky lit up like this.

A lot of British blood has a viking influence. The Welsh especially. We also had a Viking king in England. So it's all the same. The british countries are all part of the same bloodline.

I had to work on the 4th of July and it stormed all day.

Yaayyy! I wasn't the only one!

It didn't storm here, but we had exactly 60 seconds to go see the fireworks from outside, then head back to work (before our team leader would beat our asses).

More fun when you got a couple of old high school and college buddies working at the same temp job. [IMG]

Do you know why, the word knife in English has a k in front of the n ?

Because of the Scandinavian word kniv, which means knife. But we pronounce the kn sound. But I have no idea, if the Swedes has the word in their language, just they don´t have the word pølse. But anyway Taucias well that is true too. Legit has viking blood in him, and some others of you British people have it. And one of you has some Danish heritage too. But hey aren´t we one big happy family ? :)

We are. I have red hair from my Viking forefathers. Let us drink and rejoice at the great history!
