I will make sure I'll eat plenty this time! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :icon_bigg Has Canada's Thanksgiving passed already?
Happy Turkey Day to all who celebrate. Be safe and don't eat all the fresh pie, I didn't get any last year. :dammit: ^_^_^
Yeah, Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it, and good luck on the battlefield for the black Friday sales for those that are accustomed to them!
cahaz, yes we do, among other things we also worship the ol' timmy's coffee......and now we have snow and ice, iced over sidewalks..damm
I'm stuffed. Had three seperate turkeys and one roasted pork (cooked to where the meat falls off the bone ), plus rice, potato salad, one whole pumpkin pie, wine, sangrea, and michelob. I'm not tired, really. It's a good thing I'll be helping someone move out of a house, so I'll be burning off that stored energy.
The way you said it, it makes it seem like YOU ate all that food! Tell me it was just what your whole family had prepared... h: I know "of" a guy that could eat insane amounts of food like that. My Uncle and Cousin knew him and told us about him. His name is Thomas, and he is an eating machine. He ate 6 BBQ sandwiches, a plateful of potato salad, and still wanted seconds. And this was only his LUNCH. For dinner, he went out to some restaraunt and ordered three meals. (not sure what it consisted of, but it was like a Hamburger platter or something) They were expensive, too, since his bill was $80. He had a whole pie for dessert. I dont know his entire eating shcedule for one day, but I do know that he was kicked out of several buffets. You may think he is really, really fat, but he is just big and muscular...
I went thru 3 different places today. Had the most food the first time, then "dinner" at the second place, and then munched on stuff at my friends place.
I've never eaten so much at any Thanksgiving in my life like I did today! My cousin, his dad, and I kinda had a competition at the end to see who ate the most (I ate 3 full plates BTW). I pretty much had fun and was thankful to be around most of my family & family friends. My older cousin would've also came, but he was over at his fiancee's parents' home.
There's this thing called a Turdukden that some people get (usually big events...and John Madden) and it's a chicken stuffed inside a duck stuffed inside a Turkey...aka heart attack.
