I think he put it in himself. Not 100% sure on that though.

Yeah I think him or the guy who sent it to him installed the CIC.

Lets forget for a minute that the quality is junk on the ED64 Plus. Support is huge on a product like this that has certain quirks and a bit a learning curve for people not familiar with ROMs and flash carts. Not to mention support for bug fixes and new features. KRIKzz has a much better support structure. Not only support from himself, but support from the community.

ed64plus is a strange bit of kit..after viewing a few images it has a cart thing ontop allowing boot cic also has the option to solder a cic chip on pcb, so in theory if u solder 6105 cic and use boot cart aswell 6102 cic you can run every game on it? someone dare to test that theory out? lol

I'm in the process of modding my official Everdrive 64 (the REAL one) with those 2 CIC chips. But it died and is getting repaired ATM by another member here. When I get it back I'll finish the mod and check to see if Banjo Tooie boots under the 6105 and all other games under 6102. Simple as wiring all pins together but the GND ones. Wire them to a DPDT switch and 2 points on the ED board as well to be closed when the 6105 is selected. In theory this should allow for the 2 chips to work and not interfere with each other.

Is the ed64 plus that bad? It seems like it's the cheapest working n64 flash cart out there that can hold more than 2 games .

What part of "This thing is a cheaply made Chinese rip-off of the ED64" does no one here GET???!!!
The design specs were stolen off the ED64. Don't buy it because of that alone.
I've seen the parts that go into this thing. They are sub-par compared to the ED64.
No telling how long they will work before frying...

^ Dis be truth. Go look into it yourself if you think I'm making it up. Cross-reference design specs, pictures, ect. Even the software is a rip-off of what KRIKzz designed for his cart!!
