in my dream last night, someone brandished a knife, i initially thought they were being playful but then they slashed my arm a few times. I actually felt the pain of the knife and could feel the skin moving around the metal. I woke up immeadiately and grabbed at my arm, it didnt appear i had injured it in anyway. It was a very very strange experience. I`m prone to vivd dreams but it`s been a very long time since i have had anything so real happen.

I remember experiencing pain in quite some dreams too. I don't find it strange though, since I've been used to extraordinary dream experiences. I can even feel taste and smell, something none I know does.

Funny that you mention this, hahaha.

Ever since I can remember I have had nothing but bad dreams (Nightmares, if you will). In every single dream I can remember I die in someway or get injured. I remember floating through my floor into nothing-ness. It was pure black and I saw 1 gray figure with Bright red eyes come straight for me and Punch me dead on in the stomach. He then began ramming my head into his knee. I jolted awake, looked around my room and it felt as if my bed was vibrating.

To be honest, I hate sleeping. Because whenever I experience a dream its a terrible one. All my friends tell me about how they had such cool dreams, "and oh yeah this one time I won the lottery yay!", and they ask me some of my good ones. It is sad for me to think about... :crying:

Well, there was another pointless post. Sorry to take time from your guys' lifes.

I get tickled in dreams (the type when people learn you're ticklish and tickle you to death).

Man, I've felt everything in dreams. xD

Oh yeah, I've had some crazy pains in my dreams. It has to be college that's stressing me out or something because my ex-roommate from last semster said he found me multiple times screaming in my sleep...pretty scary.

But anyways, the first pain I can recall in my sleep was when I was in a baby tiger's cage cleaning it out(I have no fucking idea why I was in this scenario). All of a sudden, the tiger jumps and gets a hold of my neck(on the side) and I'm in my sleep trying to scream help but I can't scream it, I wake up and my neck is so tensed up and in pain from the tension.

I've had another situation such as that one only when I woke up, I couldn't move anything on my body. Can't remember the dream though, fortunately.

I've only felt emotional pain in dreams, not physical.

A few years ago, I had a dream that one of my close friends died. I didn't actually see her die, but I knew in the dream that it happened. I woke up with a horrible feeling.

A week later one of her cousins died. He was 9, and I don't know if they ever figured out what caused it.

The dream still scares the hell out of me, because I still remember most of it. I'm dating her now, so I'm probably about 100x more protective of her than I used to be. Oh well; I'm in a good place and I guess I don't really care to think about things like this.

I don't dream unless I sleep a LOT longer than the recommended value. 7+

I don't recall having a dream in the last....probably months, really, but usually when I do, its a Nightmare or something uncomfortable. I dreamt I was at work naked, etc. :p

I remember a few times dreaming about monsters chasing me when I was younger though. It was really vivid. Let me draw a pic real quick in MSpaint to illustrate...

I was being chased by monsters, so I ran into a house, which for some reason had bleeding walls and pools of blood on the floor. I think I would have had a heart attack if it wasn't for my being woken up to go to school that day.

Oh man, when I ran a lot I would wake up with them occassionally. It's so weird because for the first few seconds you have no idea what's going on.

I had a Charlie Horse leg the other day. When ever it happens I turn into a sailor, which is rare for me.

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUUCK SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT..........And when I try to walk "Ow, ow, ow, ow....."

I hate those things SO much, and they last all day almost.

    EDIT:

Yeah, but its the craziest thing though. The monsters were creepy and all, but I don't think it was even remotely game related. They look more like demented versions of Cookie Monster, in fact, their bodies were like the texture of Oatmeal. Yep, living masses of Oatmeal with teeth and claws. I think the house was scarier, though I have had nightmares after reading a series of internet stories DESIGNED to freak you out. Some of these were made by freelancers, but they describe things SO well, you can practically visualize them, and with them being monsters, your imagination and fears go haywire in the dark and stuff.

I remember the dreams where I'm in an apocalyptic world. I'm running for something, but running towards something good to change the state of affairs. I had dreams where one time I was in apocalyptic New York City and it was completely underground, the top was covered in ice. It was grim. The sewers and tunnels were converted to support life. I walked into a store to get food and when i walked out the locals announced the lights were going to turn off and I was advised to stay indoors so as not to get attacked by rats. Of course, I couldn't stay for long because I was being chased by someone/something so I had to figure my way out int he pitch black. I woke up when I ran into a giant rat.

I thought that was you hawanja ;).

It's quite interesting that those monsters have a somewhat similar appearance, I can remember nightmares with creatures with wide sharp teeth, green/brown skin and red eyes. Maybe they do exist in a parallel dimension only kids can receive?:crying::110:

As for a good image of my experience:

By the way I get a "pins and needles" leg when I play games in the "yoga" position... it's damn comfortable and I don't feel bad until I get up, then I crawl down and take deep breaths in case more oxygen gets down there and I recover faster. It could make a really funny video, though I think I should visit a neurologist.
