I'm a little confused, is there an entirely different kind of compatibility that I haven't tried to use already? Or do the patched xex's and such not count as the dev compatibility itself?
http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=14164.msg105161#msg105161 use this along with the modified xefus all of your old xb1 backups should work
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=708890&st=0&#entry4658199 In there is a link to the hacked bc. NVM they removed the links, send me a pm and I'll send you the link to it. A link to a site was posted where you can get it from there, it's not a direct link so you guys can have at it. http://www.digitalreality.co.nz/xbox360/?p=290 You can find what you need on that site, it's on the main page there. Hawk
Hawk next time don't link stuff like this anymore, also it does piss me off this person leaked it,I know the author did not give this person permission in the first place.
I linked to a different page not the actual download, so that should be with in the rules of the site right? Hawk
As a matter of fact, it should not matter anymore as the files are leaked everywhere. I feel bad for Xorloser, but in my opinion even the people that have devkits and had these files should also shut up since they were in essence leaked to them. Yet they act as if they were entitled to them all along.
Yeah I really don't care what you think has your opinion counts for zero to nothing on my IDGAF scale. I was asking for clarification on the rules and guidelines of posting information that links to files. Hawk
If his opinion counts as 0 on your IDGAF scale, he must be very important to you (get it? it's like saying: "I don't want to not fuck that girl")
1) Personal bickering goes elsewhere. Keep it technically focused. 2) Keep the "scene" politics out of it. Thanks. Now, why not put this topic to good use and start a decent discussion on the technical merits of the hack? Simply resigning the retail emulator files/patches isn't a difficult task. Removing the title checks is a more interesting bit of work. -hl718
TitleID "checks" weren't actually removed.\ The way the emulator knows which xefu to use, is it checks in a list which tells it the appropriate one. (each entry is 0x14 bytes, used for XamLoaderSetLaunchData)
