You know it cracks me up but nintendo were the first to really push the concept of games displayed in hd resoloution, even though it was 480p. Still i find it odd they didn't bother putting the cables in stores.
Well the vga adaptor was ment for monitors, this was before hd tvs became sorta of a comon thing in the market. But yeah the vga adapter was defiently overlooked by most. I can say though games did look amazing on a monitor. I love getting my old monitor out to play ikaruga the way the it was ment to be played. Rez is also a sight to be hod on vga as well.
VGA or component, both are almost identical, and will to fine! I m disappointed in the number of games that did not support 480p on the gamecube and I was hoping nintendo would set some standards regarding the 480p. I m sick of S-video and composite, and my eyes don't seem to mind the extra clarity either. But wait a second. Nintendo's new connector is a propriety Audio and Video connector, sort of like HDMI? It would be funny if they indeed did release and HDMI cable, just to trick people into thinking its HD I ll settle for a VGA box over RGBcomponent any day though, so they better offer a native VGA solution. That goes for sony too.
Another mistake from Sony again in my opinion. This time it'll cost market shares. I won't get a PS3 on the start. It's delayed in the EU during march 2007, it's damn to expensive and i doubt the hardware will be any better than Xbox360. Not even a game or HDMI cable in the 599.- Euro bundle - no way i pay that much!
