your the only person thats thanked me for releasing hell gate some people have but i wish in return someone like drx would release ecco 2 in return if he does not mind or upload a video to show us him playing it at least
well the people at assemblerforums and myself are definately very thankful that you released this thing without to hesitate. most people here dont like to release their stuff, which is understandable, since this a collector's forum and not a scene-board. nevertheless, releasing unreleased stuff from one's collection is greatly appreciated by the community in any case. as for ecco 2, drx mentioned in another thread that he would release his ecco 2 version sometime this year, since he is a little bit busy these days, so don't worry, i think you should be able to play this game very soon.
Mmm Ecco 2. Glad I found that tidbit on eBay before it lapsed back into obscurity. Shame I don't have the funds then that I do now. Sigh.
it plays reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally smooth... what a surprise... graphically is a kick ass game.
Thanks a lot, yesterday my 2 brand new crystal blue VMUs arrived and I shall now dust off my Dreamcast to have some fun
My first post here, and is for thanking raylyd his release. I read the full story, very interesting. THKS!!
hi guys look at this link with game covers for unreleased games hell gate covers in there as well some one emailed me this link http://www.flickr.com/photos/dreamcast/
If anyone is making a nice clean repro of this game with a full case, disc graphics or whatever for their collection, I'd love to get the artwork. I'd certainly pay for the trouble of professional printing, if that's what you are doing. Is it possible to make this bootable so that I can play it on a regular DC? I guess it doesn't matter since I have system discs. Thanks for releasing this!
Pretty much all DC ISO's are selfboot apart from the very early ones. No need for a mod chip or and boot disc. yakumo
