Help needed, Ripping GD-R's

This is fake or is a very well keep secret....
I've heard and read a lot of theories on how rip a GD using a ordinary CD drive, but I never saw someone doing it sucessfully.

 

well kortex succeded in doing it with an normal cdromdrive and told me exactly how to do it. unfortually my donor pc which I wanted to use for it had to be taken away.. so now I need to locate on of the good cddrives.

however I'm going to make an updated guide on that (thanks to kortex) so have patience and you;'ll be rewarded :smt033

 

i think you have to use wincdr or something like that, and rip some especific sectors, right? :smt042

Ack thats a very crappy way to rip games. If it were as simple as "get this CDR, get this firmware" I'd be all over it

 

well How i see that the people don't know how rip gds with a standar cd drive or dvd drive, i will traduce the yursoft's tutorial (yursoft is the guy that he released the tutorial and all necessary tools). The method is very very easy but you must disassemble your cd or dvd drive because if necessary make a swap (cd with 122 minutes - fake- toc for a gd). how i said i use a cheap dvd drive lg, but before i used a lg 52x cd drive and artec 50x cd drive (this is the better for read gds )
