Hi there, I'm posting on behalf of the owner of a prototype whom hasn't been able to post here because she can't access her account (rin) and whoever controls the contact request at the bottom never replied. Shes looking into any information she can get about it. She refers to it as "Project Alpha" also known as "the mystery game from Hard4Games video about the same subject. She's asked about it to Atlus, the company that published Shin Megami Tensei, as the engine is predominantly made from the demikids/devil children series. She wanted to ask if there was anything that those of us at Assembler can offer for information or tips on investigations. Shes also asked MIT(Multimedia Intelligence Transfer, the creators of Demikids) about it but neither Atlus nor MIT have replied. She has the complete English script for it and it doesn't give any indications of the games real name of any kind. Can anyone here offer any suggestions or insight/ideas on how she might be able to get additional information about it? The most obvious question is if it's really using the Atlus engine or just their assets. I've seen lots of early development code that just borrowed assets from some other game so it would have something to display.
OK, so it sounds like it was made with access to the original source code - I just mentioned it because in the past people have ended up being completely misled by borrowed assets and wasted a lot of time as a result.
To be honest sounds like she knows ALOT about it already.. maybe I'm just being cynical.. if they tried the publisher and the dev, only other option could be (I'm not promoting this) stalk some LinkedIn profiles or equivalent try find someone who worked in this project...
