*Help* PSP DC-In Port Not Working

i wasnt saying that...what i meant was that the actual plug on the console ( where the charging cable goes in ) may be broken, and that you could try before replacing the fuse to just solder a 5v wire to the mobo where its supposed to get power...sorry i didnt think it was that dumb of an idea..

Last time I was at Acidmods it was full of people with a modicum of knowledge and a super tanker of stupid.

 

Seems you two haven't READ this part. So the connector is FINE. And stop being the victim with phrases like "sorry for trying to help". I don't think if OP kill his psp because of a stupid and wrong tutorial or bad advice was happy...

Also the tutorial you linked it's absolutely useless because psp slim already charge via usb (read, it's for fat).
And for your information usb max current it's 500mA, and you will see if the PSP for security reason don't even limit that current . That's why it would all this time to charge

Nothing bridged or going to ground (in this case for your info it's a short ), it's a Sony dumb limit. With a CFW you can enable option charge from usb, and your psp will charge with all kind of usb device...


So check that fuse, if is ok, will see other causes...

Don't trust tutorial wrote by someone that writes bridge\jump\chips and pops this or that. They are signs of someone that don't know what he do...
