ok guys i pick up today PS1 SCPH 1002 very nice condition but don't work he don't turn CD inside, i have another ps1 SCPH 9002 i wish to replace laser from 9002 to 1002 but shape looks different, is it same laser or ? thanks
It's electrically compatible, although you will need to fold up the longer flex PCB on the KSM440-AEM to get it to fit. You will also need to modify the plastic frame to get the cover on, because the AEM has longer plastic pegs on the lower side.
The only drop in replacement is the KSM440-BAM, which is used in the PSone. This is the same height and has the same flex PCB as the KSM-440AAM/ACM. In general, the pickup sled is interchangeable - if the original pickup is a -AAM then you will need to swap the drive gear too, because the profile was changed between the -AAM and the -ACM. If you are installing a -AEM sled (from a SCPH-750x or SCPH-900x) then the cable folds up fairly neatly. If you are using a -ADM sled (from the SCPH-55xx or SCPH-700x), it can be made to fit, but it's hard to do in a tidy manner. The spindle and sled motors are freely interchangeable between models.

That honestly doesn't look original to me - the originals have a paper label on the bottom of the sled with the part number on them, and they don't have that piece of plastic stuck to the ribbon. There are lots of things than can stop the disc from spinning - bad motor, bad BTL driver or a blown fuse on the main board. On some of the early models, the disc wasn't even started until the focus was locked, so if the pickup was really bad the disc simply wouldn't spin.
hmm... is it possible to remove complete laser and motor from some mini ps1 model will he fit , i have 3 mini ps1 at home?
