i just dont reckon everyone wants me wasting forum space chronicling my quest to get this xdk working. and as for the psu adapter i`m gonna look into it now.
are these self regulating, i mean will the xdk just draw the needed power from the power supply and not just blow the thing. i can`t really imagine any way to adjust the power output. but then again i`m not well informed in these things.
i dont know, im finding it quite interesting, i would never have known that a XDK 360 has a different PSU. Cheers
receieved a power supply from a helpful member of the forum, xdk boots up nicely. some info mfr date 12/12/05 flash 2241.0 xdk 2417.0 60.40 free (sadly nothing appears on the HD) BAD 0.0.0.0 (is this a problem not sure about the abbreviation if there is one) Will allow itself to be setup for North American, japanese or asian gaming regions. Retail game displays "please put into an xbox 360 console screen"
Pretty old flash your running on your Kit,nothing wrong with it,just not up to date, and to bad there are no goodies on the HDD.And I would not worry about it saying BAD,someone named the console that way,you can change it to any name you want. And your XDK(Test Kit) cannot run retail 360 games, you need some 360 debug games. But all in all good job on getting it running.
