Ah I see. I remember seeing those now that you mentioned it. As for the obesity, I could see it coming since (and I'm not trying to generalize) a lot of "heavier" girls like to make mountains out of molehills.

I just had a conversation with one of my friends (who had a mad crush on me at one point), saying next to nothing. She told me her whole life's story on who she is dating now and that I should come visit her and etc etc.

I don't really get it.

This is not nearly as annoying as a GoH thread, by the way. Henners doesn't make fucking stupid threads over nothing, and this situation seems legitimate enough (although I would probably never make a thread on it myself).

 

I just thought I would get the opinion of some others because I know people on here have been in situations and this is the forum I occupy most and don't just "lurk". Girl2 says she doesn't want the job anymore because she'll end up working with Girl1 etc etc. So to illustrate to Girl2 that we are short people (despite her claiming we are not), I called in. She seriously though is brain dead fucking retarded. I was talking about oil, and our country's current economy problem, and she said "But why are you worrying about this sort of thing? It's not our problem." I just looked at her and told her that is single handedly the most retarded thing I had heard anyone say in 2007. I then said "We are who's problem it is. Not your moms, not your dads, not your grandparents. They're dead in 10-20 years. We're going to be around for 40. You're 20 now. Welcome to the real world." And she said "I never hear people talk about these sort of things" and I said "That's because these are grow up topics."

anyway, I am going to say fuck it about getting Girl2 the job, and I'm appyling all over the place trying to get a different job.

Edit: On second thought, you could always go to a higher-up and explain the situation. However, you then run the risk of them not hiring your friend since the possibility of her working there is obviously causing conflict. I can't stand Starbucks, though, and if I had to work there I'd be on the hunt for another job as well.

 

I really wish I didn't have to but fuck this company, it's not even really starbucks I work for albertsons and the starbucks is inside there. She came into the albertsons company 3 months after I did and she makes 8.75, i make 8.35, how does that even work I don't know.

This (or similar). I worked at a grocery store and was by far the fastest person there. A 16 year old blonde bitch gets promoted to customer service, along with a raise, and I had to take orders from her. It's like she went home and dreamed about coming into work, just to order folks around.

One of the members of management was a lesbian, which probably played no small role in ensuring this girls climb up the "ladder," however short that ladder may be.

That's okay, though. I'm in school now and she'll probably be working there for quite some time. I hated that job.

I should not joke/generalize like that, but sometimes it is aggravating to think "Hmmm...you would think that girls would have other more important issues to worry about than constant calling, texting, nagging, etc"

I just don't understand it. I am fine with independance.

It is very true though that the more you distance yourself, the more girls will try to get you - GIRLS WANT WHAT THEY CAN'T HAVE - its human nature. I have been in this boat many times.
