Not exactly the best pictures I could've taken, but... GameCube, Nintendo DS, GameBoy, Nintendo DS and Xbox games, along with some N64 boxes. All things PlayStation. Super Nintendo, Dreamcast, MegaDrive, MegaCD, Master System, Saturn & Nintendo 64 games, expands when there's a surplus of cash. Some controllers and other things. Super Nintendo & MegaDrive I + Dreamcast arcade stick. PAL Xbox, PAL MegaDrive II & MegaCD II combo, US-NTSC PS2, EU PAL PS2, PAL Nintendo 64, PAL Dreamcast and PAL GameCube. Television, cost me only 50 euro's, 60/50Hz rocks + stereo rocks.
ON the top right its a sticker though yeah in the middle it looks like it might not sure if its another sitcker.
Haha, I have that same TV! Do you still have the manual by any chance? And are there any game stores in Vlaanderen that you can recommend? ;-)
No manual, bought it for 50 euro's second hand, like new. ;p The Sega and Atari marks are stickers, the Siera mark in the middle is the brand. (once thought it was Sierra ;p) And you need recommendations for gameshops in Flanders/Belgium? Well, I could list a few stores... I live in the Antwerp area/province. Chains: - Gamemania: good selection of second hand titles at reasonable prices, good selection of newer titles at high prices. Unless you buy loads of games there, it's cheaper elsewhere. They got stores almost everywhere. - Free Record Shop: Almost just like the Netherlands, sometimes they do price reductions. You can find some older games here too (depends on where you go and look) Stores everywhere. - Bart Smit: Just like the Netherlands actually. Loads of shops in Belgium - E-Plaza: A variant of Bart Smit, just without the toys. Only saw one shop in Belgium. - FNAC: Nice shop with a great selection. They keep their games in seal, which is nice. Prices can vary however, although their 'green prices' are great. - Mediamarkt: Just like the Netherlands. (shops in Antwerp, Brussels and Hasselt?) Got to go now, I'll list some smaller shops later.
Thanks I was rather looking for stores like SLO, though. And you live in Antwerp? Cool, my grandmother lives in Linkeroever, I used to be there quite often but it's so boring.
I live near Antwerp (I can reach it by bike, car, bus, tram, train,... about 25 minutes with a bus). And yeah, Linkeroever can be quite dull, it's the city centre on the other side where you need to be (Meir, Het Zuid, Groenplaats, Dageraadsplaats,...). It depends where you go to, really. And since you'd like to know a little bit more about gameshops in Belgium (specialized ones), a short list which is probably incomplete, but does include a few good stores (for Belgium): - Shop Less Ordinary (Antwerp): Currently housed above the Chinese 'Sun-Wah' supermarket in the Chinese quarter (near the Astridplein, which is on the left side of the train station, if you are looking towards it). Prices are quite high (although you do get 20% off now, since the entire staff got kicked out recently or something, not sure what will happen to the stock and the shop), but you can find some nice items, but nothing too rare which you couldn't find at the same price or way cheaper on Ebay or other places. You can find anime, manga's and mecha kits here as well, amongst other things. - Super Dragon Toys (Antwerp & Brussels): It's located somewhere in the centre, near the 'Boerentoren', don't remember since I haven't payed them a visit since they moved their shop a few blocks. They have some relatively rare items but a similar product range like SLO, and you pay the price. (I advise to just visit a few shops and compare) Watch out for bootleg OST's and anime dvd's though, I've been ripped off once there. Little Chinese buggers. - Gizmoxia (Ghent): This relatively new shop is located near the Ghent train station, in the city centre. Friendly people, they do have some nice items once in a while (mint Suikoden 2's for a good price,...), but it would be rare to see items that you wouldn't be able to get in Antwerp. Quite spacious, nicely decorated, and you can test games there as well on 3 to four television sets. - 't Speelmarantje (Gent): This shop is located in the Waterstraat, Sint-Amandsberg. Never been there, only heard of it. They have a special selling/buying system there. You can trade old games for points, and use these points to buy other items, old or new. Loads of second hand games, but prices are high, and they can be very high for rare games. - Pêle-Mêle (Brussels): A good second hand store in Brussels I once visited. I don't really recall the location, about 15 - 20 min from the 'Nieuwstraat'. In Brussels they can speak both Dutch as French in shops, mind. Just in case you were to think they only speak French. Of course, people can speak English as well. ;p ... Most shopowners are smart and know a great deal about videogames, so they won't price their wares too cheap. Also, if you want more information, google for the names and there's bound to be a shop website. I hope you find this information resourcefull. =) ... But if you're really looking for rare items, Paris is still miles and miles ahead of the Benelux. Shops like Tokyo Eyes are very nice. It's like a small Akihabara.
My tv cost me about equal to $300, 50/60HZ, 28" sony widescreen, as new, stereo, I think it's got a subwoofer in it, twin scart, S-video =) Oh and I have a Japanese PS2, the original version with the external hdd I'm not selling it, just boastings'all. S'all.
I PMed ya to see if you were interested in a JP PS2 Mine supports the external HDD, but i havent been able to find one from someone reliable.
Perkunas: thanks for your info, I'll be sure to check Gent out next time I'm there (as well as Du Progress, which is like the best restaurant on the planet). Oh and I believe SDT is located in the Jezusstraat now.
