Ho hum, zero new games bought this year

ok, not so much on the new games front (bought about 9 new lynx games..lol) but sure over 100 used games.

 

Are we just talking about games that came out this year? 2010? Or any and all game purchases?

 

Well, this is only for games released in 2010?

If not, i got tons of games.

Dead Rising 2: Case Zero
A friend bought me Battlefield Bad Company 2

I think that's it, so far.... All of those were released in 2010 I believe.

None of these interest you Jamtex? What do you usually play?

 

New games? I haven't bought any this year. I usually buy used games, and I haven't even bought many of them lately.

The last new game I bought was Sega Superstar Tennis last December, I'm afraid.

 

I've bought around 10-12 PS3 games new this year, the lastest being medal Of Honor Limited Edition this morning. Also got about 4 new PSP games and a couple of new retro games too (they were still sealed when I got them so they're new ).

I haven't really invested a lot of money into games this year, been too busy working so I decided to work on my backlog for the most time .

 

What PSP games you get?

 

I thought that Monster Hunter Tri was worth buying new. Most of what Sega decided to publish this year I ended up buying as well, but that's not unusual for me. Everything else was previously owned stuff, which has ended up being surprisingly cheap this year. A lot of games that were new releases in 2009 ended up in the $10 and $15 lists in stores and on the usual online vendors.

 

Precisely 26 games so far, mostly 16-bit stuff tough.

Weakest year ever for me, last year I had 100+ new games.

 

By new games, I mean games that have been released and you have bought within say within 3 months of it being new. After that it'll disappear from view and generally end up discounted.

So although I have bought new games, they have been more new old stock games rather then buying it on release. Today I bought "Chuukana Janshi Tenhoo Painyan Remix" on the Nintendo DS as a "new" title, it came out 3 years ago and I didn't buy it then as I had it on the PS2 and PSP. (Ironically it's only the fifth DS game I have bought in the last 4 years... Prize for anyone that can tell me the other 4 games I've bought on the DS.). Still today I spent about 6000 yen and got 23 titles for the PS, PS2, SFC and er DS and I have bought about 70 titles for my own enjoyment this year.
