Check this backlog from hell out I HAVE on my plate the following games Final Fantasy, IV, V, VI, VII and of those 2 VI and VII are the only ones I've started Chrono Trigger (currantly at Spekko) Saga Frontier (Haven't touched it) Star Ocean til the end of time (Haven't touched it yet) Persona 3 FES (it's HARD) and Once I get paid next week (IF I get paid next week) add SMT Nocturne to the list.
yeah.......have you all been there too? Far too many RPGs on your plate? I did mention I have no attention span right?
I have the same problem, I have about 8 PSP RPG's, I am playing through Blue Dragon again on Impossible mode, want to go through and get 100% on Eternal Sonata after that, and still need to buy Lost Odyssey.
Since they are all fundamentally the same gameplay mechanic, I see no sense in playing them all together. Go for one at a time until you die of boredom. I am an RPG fan, but all those games would not get completed. I kind of burned myself out on console RPGs a long time ago for that very reason. Too much of the same.
I have no idea where I read it or heard it but years ago it was told to me, one RPG at a time. I've lived that mantra ever since and it has served me well. Too easy to to get stories and items confused.
Lost Odyssey is the best thing on the 360. Hell, probably the best thing Sakaguchi has done since FFVI.
I still think FF VI is better Which should I tackle first CT or FF VI FF VI I'm stuck on the mountain. It's right where Sabin comes in. In CT I'm stuck tying to get past Spekko.
I really like RPG, but i suck at playing them. I have lots of RPG's that i haven't finished yet. FFVIII for example, it's been 8 years since i bought it and i still haven't been able to finish it.
You really should play one RPG at a time. If you don't you may lose your place. I don't mean lose your save game, but lose your place in the RPG status and story wise. I think it's best not to play other RPGs while seriously playing through one.
Never had that problem, mostly becos I avoid most RPG unless its a must-have and therefore I cant miss it. And GoH, if you have more games than you can play then dont spend your paycheck on that, you'll feel bad about it when you find something more interesting you cant buy cuz you're out of cash. The economy is doing great, so I wouldnt recommend any compulsive spending.
