I think I saw assembler first when I some1 linked me to a thread that links to a "check how rare your game is" website. Or It was when I was looking for info on SNESdev, and I stumbled upon Lint's thread on that.

    New guy. PS1 dev

    Random Search!
I have been looking for the resources that are available here for YEARS! I bought an awesome set-up for ps1 development from an individual that may have worked for PyroTechnix before they were bought out by Sierra (all of my hardware originally belonged to them). I have the DTL-H2000 ISA along with DTL-H3243 CD-ROM emu and Psy-Q sytems and various other equipment. I plan on sharing any info I can and progression of projects in the future.

    I am glad I found you! :)

Was looking for weird Master System editions, didn't really care for the forum since the museum part of the site was chock-full of information.

Once I read everything there, I joined...

I found the old (roarvgm) site first. I can't remember how I found it exactly. I think perhaps I had been looking at some rare systems at some import game store website, and when I searched for more info on one of those systems it led me to the roarvgm site. Once I was there I noticed that there was a forum, so naturally I figured that would be a good way to get all the info I could about those rare systems.

I actually found Assembler from Yakumo's website (segagagadomain.com)
    Years ago, I think 05ish?
I tried joining back then, but my registration was rejected? or something like that. hahaha. It was probably for the better anyway. I continued to lurk for the next 4 years , mostly just looking at collection threads all day in awe.

Late 2008 I saw assembler's stockpile video. I lurked for a while and the community and repairs section hooked me in because I had a fair bit of broken junk about. Generally its one of the more like-able communities. I was first at GTA4.tv for about 3 years upto september 2008. (Now iGrandtheftauto.com) Again, fantastic community (Especially the Asylum) but they changed the site and alot of good members left. I moved from place to place trying to find a forum that suited me and found here.

Came in asking about whether there was such a thing as a grey Zelda NES cart. Didn't leave.

Saw it mentioned at the end of Yakumo's Retro Core eps early last year. Visited a few times first then signed up to become a member.

Kind of knew of the museum site via google searches but what really brought me to the forum was buying a GCN NR unit off assembler on ebay.

    Yep.

Loved the interesting discussions about Betas, and systems I've never heard of.. Also the development system talk was really interesting.
Also when researching about the Doctor v64, this site always popped up.
I doubt I'd ever leave this forum, very interesting.
