I originally visited years ago when i was heavily into collection dreamcast items and dev hardware, then as i sold it all on i lost interest. I finally joined up about 12months ago when i started to get into xbox dev hardware, and have been visiting daily since, made a good few friends off here as well!
I first stumbled across the site while looking up information about the Net Yaroze. I first started posting during the 1st annual RE 1.5 hunt which has since become a tradition. http://web.archive.org/web/20021029...sembler19279frm1.showMessage?topicID=57.topic
It was when I was just starting with my site. My interest about rare stuff was just appearing and in some moment I asked Hawanja for permission to translate some stuff from his site (mostly the Famiclones section), then he passed me the link to the forum. I was lurking for a lot of time, like I still didn't have a broadband internet connection at home I didn't even thought about joining. Then when I could afford the connection, it was one of the first things I did ^_^
Back in 2004, I was looking up info for a NR Reader (Still don't remember why, either), and found the old museum, and found the message boards from there. Liked the community, and joined up. The old site is still a interesting read every now and then, and I still want to get a NR Reader one of these days, sort of a "complete circle" thing.
I was reading the 64dd.net forums and i found a topic about the M3 blue disks and it obviously mentioned this great site, that's how i found the site.
Alien Workshop told me about this site around the Summer of 2004. My first post was about Graal, I believe. No wait, it was about hacking Zelda A link to the Past, by adding tons of Links everywhere or some crap.
Basically I found the museum, thought it was the coolest thing ever, then I got a Xbox 1 dev kit then starting coming here for more info about,Fred was so much help, can't thank you enough mate.
I found this site from a friend when I was interested in some dev equipment. There was a wealth of information here so I stuck around. I guess you could say the forums inspired me to start my own collection also.
I believe I stumbled onto these forums when I was searching for some Starfox 2 Beta information.  infact, I didnt know there was an actual ASSEMbler Museum until a year after I found the forums...
I found the place when I was looking up info on my first console - the Amstrad Mega PC & found info in the assembler museum on roarvgm (or whatever it was back then). I have been posting since the ezboard days.
