Me again with my vast list of problems with gaming, And this is the one that's annoying the most. I recently purchased Super Smash Bros Brawl and the new Freeloader for my Wii and it was all jolly exciting.

I got in from a long boring day at school to be amazed of my package laying on my desk so i ran straight to my Wii to test it out, Nothing seemed to happen, So i tried the Freeloaders second method and nothing happened again, They said some update should appear, and i got nothing.

I recently heard of this dust problem because Brawl is a dual layered disc it might not be able to read the disc because of the dust on the laser lens or whatever. So does a smart soul know how i fix this problem so i don't resort to a flying Wii out of my window situation.

Please take note that this is a PAL Wii,

    1. Make sure to follow all the instructions on the Freeloader paper insert.

    2. When you insert both discs, wait for them to "load all the way." What I mean is, wait until you stop hearing loud disc reading noises. In the case of Brawl, this is very crucial. It may take 10-20 seconds, but it has been claimed to work for one person.. so try it out.

I have good news and bad news, Good news is my Brawl is finally working with the freeloader.

Bad news is it plays in black and white even though it son 60Hz, any ideas why this is happening?
Knowing me its because of my TV.

It sounds like your TV doesn't support NTSC. Have you tried using another newer TV?
