There are some interesting points here. While players may not level because of their skill, I don't think ranking up too high is such a bad thing. I climbed the lone wolf ranks pretty quickly. Once I got to the 30s, the guys I was playing with were instantly a lot cooler. The higher my rank went the fewer jerks I encountered online. This is a definite plus to leveling up. However, the higher my level went the must frustrating playing became because I wasn't winning all the time. I pride myself on not using the weapons that I feel are pretty cheap (sword, hammer, rockets). If you look at my kill stats on bungie.net they are as follows (these are for ranked matches): AR - 526 kills Melee - 416 kills Grenades (I added up all 3 types) - 260 kills Sniper Rifle - 184 kills BR - 134 kills Phrequency: You need to play ranked to get most of the achievements, however, I'm pretty sure your exp goes up when you play social matches, too.
It does. Kyle wouldn't let me play ranked matches on his account until he thought I was good enough in the social matches, and his exp was going up. I think ranked has more exp though.
haha, yeah... i don't really like 1 v 1 but if we get some people on in a team slayer i'm totally game.
Oh yeah, definitly not 1vs1. I don't like that either. We need to do team slayer or something, or that infection thing Henners made, that game type rocks.
I had a dreadful night last night, and it seemed all my deaths came by guys camping with the sword or rocket. I would unload a clip into guys and it seemed like it did nothing. It was just one of those nights.
yeh i did it on legendary first its challenging i liked it but i hate the AR starts on multiplayer it shoukd be BR start i think that would be better
It happens. What's your gamertag? Even if you play with one other person that's good it can make all the difference. I only play Lone Wolf unless I have someone else in my party that can help out. I'd be more than happy to play with you.
